Ivan Maric

What a pick up, he's not just a good ruckman because he's better than what we had, but he's actually in the top 5 rucks in the league at the moment.

29 HO's, 4 Tackles, 22 Disposals, 9 Marks (5 Contested), 4 I50's, 2 Clearances 94% game time :clap

Big Ivan is keeping us in games. I would go as far as to say he is our most important player, he holds things together in the middle and at stoppages. Bloody hell its time he got some help though.

Looking forward to when the commentators stop referring to him as unskilled [Tonight Darcy commented on a neat bit of play from him saying "you don't often see that with Ivan"] - it's another classic group-think myth. He's been efficient by hand and foot all year plus is an excellent contested mark. Doesn't appear the least bit unco, yet everyone keeps giving him the backhanded compliment of being aggressive without any finesse. He's sold way short on the latter.

- IDIOTS!!

But yeah - Loving Ivan's work. Such a massive addition to the team.

Should have gotten the BOG. That holding the ball decision against him was an outrage, bloody outrage that is not within the spirit of the game.

Absolutely. Then the ump had the gall to award a 50 metre penalty and give them a goal on a platter.

That was a disgraceful decision. My small boy learned a few new words after that one.

Hey Foxtrot are you or the avatar the bearded bloke Ch 7 showed in the Cheer Squad tonight?

Reckon we'd be a 6 goal worse side without him. His contested marks around the ground are invaluable and a get out of jail free card.

Ha - no not me mate, it's Jeff Bridges as "the Dude" in "The Big Lebowski", with a hastily photoshopped Tiges jumper.

100% agree, he's a huge upgrade for us.
I like his effort.

Ivan the great IMO is what we should call him.
I got s sneaky suspicion that lade hardwick and leppa constantly are in his ear, not to do anything to get reported, i can tell from his eyes he really wants to belt someone.
bloody hell as selfish as I am, would of loved him to lose his shiet at the ruck contest after we hit the lead.

He nearly did it to the Bummer player who whacked his face or arms when he took the mark at HFF in the last Q.
