it was written somewhere that he has some offers for one year contracts to play as a back up ruck and part time coach, including one from Richmond.
Hear good things about him, would be great at the club to develop young players.

A shame that his body has started to fail him, our midfielders has been very ordinary with out him.

Agreed! He's been a fine servant to the club and I hope he is rookied and gets a development role. Too much of a quality person to let go.

McRae on Ivvy -

Ivan Maric
28 hit-outs, one goal, 14 disposals, four clearances, four inside 50s

Played his best game at VFL-level for the year in my eyes. His intensity was a real standout and he dominated the ruck. It was a really strong performance from him.

Big Ivvy is not always a fan of reserves footy. ;D But he's fit. Sound as a bell right now. And he wants to play. He'd be a great get for a stand-alone VFL team and could play on for years at the current rate. I hope he gets a gig. I think he'll be a great asset to the right side.

I wouldn't mind if he got a senior game this week.

If it is to be his last in our AFL colours, he definitely deserves it. I want to see that.

Reckon he's earned the right to one last hurrah if the club doesn't see any future for him, he's been fun to watch n great value for the club.

Would love to see the big moulette putting the old fashioned frighteners up a few Sydaknee players in a farewell game when they have finals ahead of them.

Would have like too see him get one at the G last week, I'd rather now that Hammer is re signed that we just put him out to pasture now, was hobbling around a bit last week and give Ivy his farewell game.

If he gets picked we will know he is gone I assume

Rookie list at best for RFC next year ... maybe.
Would love to see him stay on in some sort of coaching/development role.
Maric's character and attitude is something for the younger players to model.

Just read in the HUN that "the Tigers want to keep for another year". Surprised to read this. We can all see his decline over the last few seasons to the point that he only played the 2(?) games this season. Body is shot and I hope to heel our ruck plan for 2018 isn't going around again with Hampy and Ivan.

We are screwed , instead of looking to the future ,dimma gifts games and contracts to his YES MEN AND Plodders

If they keep Maric which i am almost certain will happen with *smile* at the helm it just shows how inept this club is. They just cant get it right!! Nah...no boys club down at Tigerland.

I love the big fella but we need to move on.... Offer him a coaching role & a gig in the VFL.
He is done at AFL level......
