Ivan Maric

It seems in a dismal start to the season a lot of hope is being hung on Ivan's return. I hope he can become the player he was a few years ago and perform well week in week out for us.

Don't think Ivan's inclusion will make much of a difference in the scheme of things.

I reckon he was cooked by the start of last season.

But at least the rooms will be much tidier.

Yep. His assured hands in close over Hampson's fumblitis helps us significantly in and around the clearances. Plus he won't drop every uncontested or contested mark.

That's right.Better than what we've currently got.

It's at the stoppages that the big fella does his best work.
Gawn will beat him at the centre bounces but Ivan will let him know that he's there.
While he can still jog he should play until we can get someone better. Let's hope that the powers that be have got it as a priority.

Ivan was not physical. He did not try very hard. No emotions made up for his physical limitations. There was nothing to pity on his failure.

Gawn was too good. Our man used his sublime skills every time he was good enough to get the ball. He even marked in the forward line.

He had no change ruck. And he's 30. But he was well beaten. Despite his very fine skills.

Maric didn't seem particularly match fit but despite giving away height and years to Gawn fought valiantly and what tap down he won were more often than not to advantage unlike Hampson. He was also more effective around the ground and gave us so much more overall. I note that Miles appeared to be more effective probably due to better service. he may be at the tail end of his career but still gives us so much more than Hampson or our back up ruck options

Is there any stat to show missed or failed tackle attempts?
Because he had a 100 last night. They ran around him like he was a witches hat.
He is finished. He looks slower if that is possible.

Worst fears realised. Completely destroyed.

Everyone on this form knew it but the blokes that run the joint have no idea.
Currie/smith should've been recruited.

Best days are behind him.

Best to looking through our ruck stock to find the next player who is ready.
There's plenty to pick from
