I think the reason Rampe didn't push it through for a point was that there was 2 minutes to go and we were 6 points up. Any score meant they had to score twice to win.
Even a point then probably was game over

He is a thinking man's footballer, Dane Rampe. Doesn't explain why he lay on the ground like a little girl.

Seriously weird stuff. Why did Rampe pat the ball down and kill it when he reached down for it? Why didn't he just push it through the goals? How exactly did they both fall over? Why did Jack just get out of the way and watch? Why didn't he scramble for the goal like he normally does? Why did Ivan stop long enough to fry an egg but not think to pick it up? Why did the two Swans just lie on the ground? Where was the rest of the defence? Why was Buddy still sooking at the other end of the ground?
For gold class comedy it's all about the timing. The sequence of timing for this little cameo was absolutely perfect n Tiger players n fans cracked up as it unfolded. You can bet we'll still be chortling n grinning at this one after a hundred viewings, it's a rolled gold classic.

Geez, n I thought half our AFL callers were flogs. Soccer commentator had more than a sex wee in his pants over Messi kicking the goal.

When they take penalties in Soccer, they only have to contend with one goalie, Ivan had to knock it past two.

It was like a train-wreck that everyone could see coming but everyone was mesmerised and frozen in the moment.

Maybe it's just me but every time I watch Sydney Dean Rampe is the cause of a lot of backline blunders and calamities.

Someone told me they're being criticised for their out-of-whack list. cream at the top, bums at the middle and bottom.

Like Tommy D as their ruckman!

The odd thing is it was the Swan player (24) who stopped the ball dead that allowed Ivan to kick it.mi initially thought it was Jack who stopped it.

Rampe smothered the ball to stop Jack kicking it, but really should have punched it through.

Yeah that was on SEN on the weekend, they're paying Franklin an Tippett so much that their depth is suffering.

They are still a pretty handy team.

Their other issue is that Goodes, McVeigh, Shaw and Richards are all fading. Goodes and Shaw, in particular, seem to be hanging on by becoming more and more selfish. Shaw keeps calling for the ball at every opportunity and, almost inevitably, butchers it.

Tippett was always a mistake. He was never worth that sort of money. Twelve months later, Franklin took his position.

I thought Tippett provided something when he rucked and showed a bit more aggression than I've seen from him. Reckon they should play him instead of Pyke and especially instead of Derrixc. Derrixc was a mistake.

Tippett needs to play at least half the game in the ruck, he's not good enough as a permanent key forward.
