Ivan Maric

Have watched Maric closely this season. He gets rave reviews from most on here for his big heart and I agree, he is a warrior, but he is playing like an old old man. Can't run, can't jump, has become a plodder. Sad to see we have run this guy into the ground over 3 years.

Thought he was auditioning for the "Mummy returns" tonight.

Sadly I think he's coming to the end
 
Eagle's on 2x 6 day breaks. We couldn't get near them because Nic Nat dominated Maric. We just needed a 50/50 result with the tap work and we got slaughtered.

Hindsight's nice but I reckon Hampson would have given a better contest tonight...

I thought we got Hampson to play against the likes of Sandilands and Nic Nat. Horses for courses.

Far too much logic
playing Hampson would have been far better and would have given Maric a rest
Dimmers too conservative to go for that approach

Still a place for Ivan , just maybe not as primary ruckman. Still very handy as a forward or in defense, floating back taking marks, ALA BGale in his twilight years

I think we did. But then realized he can't mark, kick or do anything other than hang out with his missus
