Not sure we see Lynch again this year. Same with Kaleb Smith.

And Robbie Tarrant will retire next week for sure. But so many repeat injuries.

Let's hope Tom Browne can get some continuity and isn't on the list again.

Some time frames have increased instead of decreasing..you won't see lynch this yr.
Rioli hamstring went from 2 weeks to 6 weeks.
Cibcus has been out for 13 weeks with a hamstring and still down for 4-6.
Hopper has gone up.
This year is write off.

There's a player we need to blood for the rest of the season when ready IMO takes Ralphsmith's role as 7th defender, Banks to a wing.

Smith placed on inactive list

Richmond youngster Kaleb Smith (navicular bone stress) has been placed on the Club's inactive list, creating a second list vacancy ahead of Wednesday's AFL Mid-Season Draft.

Richmond youngster Kaleb Smith will be placed on the Club’s inactive list, ruling him out for the remainder of the 2023 season.
Smith, 18, was the Tigers’ first pick, selection No. 49 overall, at last year’s NAB AFL Draft.

The West Australian suffered a bone stress injury to his right navicular bone in early February, with the delicate rehabilitation program’s timeline now pushing beyond the season.

Richmond General Manager- Football Talent Blair Hartley said that Smith had approached the “tricky” injury and rehabilitation with great professionalism.
“We are very disappointed for Kaleb and the Club that he will not play any football in his debut season, particularly after how much he impressed us with his pre-season match play,” he said.

“He has fitted into the group well, worked diligently with our medical staff, and been very positive throughout his time on the sidelines.
“Unfortunately, after seeing some specialists outside the Club and with a stagnating recovery timeline, we have decided to place him as inactive with a view to his long-term future.

“We will continue to treat Kaleb’s injury carefully through this period.”
The vacancy will now open a second spot on Richmond’s list ahead of the 2023 Mid-Season Draft set to be held on May 31.
“We are excited about the prospect of bringing two new players to the Club,” Hartley said.

The Mid-Season Draft has been fruitful for Richmond since its inception in 2019, with Marlion Pickett famously going on to debut in that season’s Grand Final.

Pickett’s former South Fremantle teammate Matthew Parker (2021) also made an impact with the Tigers after being selected mid-season, breaking quickly into the senior team, while Jacob Bauer (2022) has been among the emergencies at times this year as a young key position player.

Richmond’s first vacancy on the list was created through the retirement of Jason Castagna.

The entire high performance team need to be funnelled into a cannon and fired out across the bay.
Epic fail.
0 out of 100.
Who's in charge down there? Benny Hill? Queue the wacky music.
Relying on "outside" specialists now.
Unbelievable level of incompetence/mismanagement.(n)
Huge broom time.

First change for 2024 is a thorough clean out of strength & conditioning staff. Recruit best available & pay them as much as possible within confines of the soft cap - especially given the transition nature of the squad - old players and very young players.

You have to wonder if the new guy had the balls to tell Dimma and the player to GAGF when they were pushing to come back so could get some wins on the board.

Maurice off injury list which is good but why have we, for weeks now, seen no progress status wise in everyone else? Lynch’s foot injury was 2 months ago and at the time we were told it’s a 2-3 month injury.. he’s still long term which is 2+ months… wtf is going in with our injured players? How are Hopper and Gibcus still medium term when they were medium term weeks ago? So frustrating!!
