Injury Report - Season 2023

I think we are still a huge chance this year. if we can win the next 2 and get some foot soldiers back against Cats and win that one we are back from the dead. Literally.
18 games left we just need to win 2 out of every 3 games. its not impossible.

It appears that the club has revoked Luke Meehan’s media pass after what can only be described as a complete lack of stage presence.
Looks like it’s very general and brief descriptions moving forward with vague timelines for injury recoveries

There really is only 3 good teams.
Pies, Lions and Melbourne. Crows bombers and saints will fade late in the season. I think we have 17 games left. We need to win 11-12. It's doable.
We need to get on a roll like 2019. Win the next two being Gold Coast and West Coast and upset a few on the way home.

What’s your best guess for when he returns Caesar? Is he any chance for next week or is it most likely the Geelong game?
Gibcus hasn't joined main group yet so don't have much of an idea might get a bit better idea tomorrow hopefully ?

i,ll give you 3 weeks anything longer is medium term to me.
Deal accepted!
It just means the club is not always cautious with timeframes, MJR at 3 weeks for the hammy is a minimum.

Short answer is we need more of the team on the park

Early prognosis

Sheed is expected to return from a throat injury this week after specialist advice and a period of non-contact training. Yeo has increased his workload with straight line running, while Shuey has started on-field running and felt comfortable. Chesser has made good recent progress and is doing football work ahead of a possible return in round nine, alongside Hough and potentially Edwards. – Nathan Schmook

Think we all previously agreed that Lynch was our most important player. Probably just in front of Nankervis.
And suddenly in one fell swoop, we lose Lynch for half the season or more and Nankervis for a third or more of the season.
Couldn’t have scripted it any worse if you tried

Lynch has been irreplaceable. Now Soldo is fit & Ryan has emerged, ruck isn’t so much of an issue.

We’ve also lost out with younger players like Gibcus and Brown being injured - no chance to see if they’d make an impact in their second seasons.

Eagles need some serious meetings with their Premiership winning senior blokes who dont really give !Q$@#!^ it seems these days.

"The Tigers will welcome back gritty midfielder Jack Graham after a hamstring injury while Dion Prestia returns from a rest due to soreness.
Hardwick said exciting youngster Josh Gibcus (hamstring) and fellow defender Robbie Tarrant (hip) could play a half in the VFL next week.
He added that co-captain ruckman Toby Nankervis (ankle) had started running again and could return in two to three games while key forward Tom Lynch (foot) was out of a moon boot."

Saw Mate Colina posted an instagram story on the Gold Coast during the week. Does anyone actually have any idea what is going on with his back injury and if there is any sort of timeframe on his return?
