Comments and opinions from people like you for a start. Also having a non-Caucasian wife and mixed race kids gives me a better insight than most.
Any one who does not have an insight into racism get yourself a non Caucy wife then you be the full bottle of racism.

Yep, I was engaged to an Asian girl in a past life and I noticed it. It was at a time when the media was pushing this narrative of violence in the city, which was being blamed on Asians.

I also dated a girl of African descent for a short period (a couple of months) and I was shocked at the looks we got. It was truly an eye opener.

Maybe she was the good looker (no offence intended).

This fell off the back of a truck in Punt Road.

Casey : Instead of a 'voice " ,New Zealanders copped a "self appointed , elitist minority advocating that they speak for all Maori " ,which has just made worse for the people it was set up to help. Sound familiar ?. ADVANCE AUSTRALIA $100 million...every single day. How would you feel if I told you thats how much Australian Taxpayers spend on direct government support for Indigenous communities ?. That's $39.5 billion of direct government expenditure a year > That's more than we spend on NDIS ($35.5 billion),Medicare ($31.5 billion) , or Defence (38 Billion). It is about the same as the Federal government's entire spend on schools & Universities ($39.7 Billion). That does not even include the EXTRA $424 million announced by Albo to "close the gap " (yes, an extra ($1.2 Million a day !). Well Australians are generous & compassionate compassionate & we all agree the Indigenous people need to be respected & supported . But despite the outlay of this enormous amount of real money there has been no discernible improvement in the lives of Indigenous Australians. The gap just is not closing. In fact if the NDIS or Medicare were delivering outcomes as bad as this $100 million a day, there would be a Royal Commission .It would be a National scandal . The PM should be explaining to you why billions of dollars on direct support for Indigenous Australian is wasted ,before he throws good money after bad on a Voice referendum. Albo needs to be straight with the Australian people & tell us how much is to much. Because if a $100 Million a day is not enough ,how much is ?.

Tomorrow I will start listing the wastes like Aboriginal & Torres States Islanders Legal Service...14 offices in Qld , 23 in NSW, 8 in Victoria SA 3 ,WA 11 ,Tas 3. NT 3 , Australian Indigenous Foundation -AB Care- Australian Institute of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders Study (AIATSIS) - Australian Indigenous Minority Supplier Council - Aboriginal Maternal & Infant Health Service- Aboriginal & Torres Strait Island Commission- Aboriginal & Torres Strait Health Performance Framework - Assembly of First Nations - Australian indigenous Economic Policy Research (CAEPR) That is just the A lot.

Without direct indigenous governance it’s just a slush fund for white people to advance their own agendas.

How much of this money benefits white bosses and contractors? Eh? You don’t know? Just posting someone else’s opinion and stepping back? Ever been to a remote community? Ever been arrested for being black?

Yeh, the ignorance is astounding. He's bemoaning the long term issues and waste and lack of progress of indigenous outcomes yet opposes the very thing that has been discussed and debated at length and promoted as the way forward to empower indigenous and give them a voice and a say in the future and hopefully produce better outcomes. Is it the panacea? Who knows, but what is the risk? How does it impact me? I imagine any improvement in indigenous outcomes is an improvement in outcomes for all Australians.

You will never get 100% buy in to any change but I've yet to read any article that provides a common sense reason not to support the YES vote.

I cant see why they need Dutton supporting the voice?

Coast to Coast LNP are a train wreck.

I feel like its better if he doesnt support it, along with LittleEyes.

65% have decided to vote yes.

Of the other 35%,

20 are racist *smile* and 10 are just *smile* and 5 are friendless weird semantics constitutional nerds who are *smile*

Dutton in or out wont change a thing

I agree. I read that post and thought in some ways it was a case for voting yes.

Yeah, it's never been done without bipartisan support and it will be tough without it.

On the other hand, if the Libs are serious about winning back the seats they lost to the Independents, supporting a No vote is really going about it the wrong way.

Like a lot of the conservative blather around this you'll get the argument that "the Voice is bad, we need real stuff!" and when you point out the real stuff that happens independently of the Voice the real point of view emerges - "we should do nothing".

I doubt old mate Tiga has ever thought this one through though.

I honestly dont think democratic history applies anymore.

It was all written before the internet.

Plus weve never had anywhere near such a rabble of a bunch of corrupt dark hearted *smile* in opposition before.

The data clearly shows Australians are awake to LNP

Weve said clearly 'we dont want to live in a corrupt, hateful, coalmine, run by dumb nasty *smile*'

Its a constant 15% swing.

Yeh, reckon this is spot on. It's not a swing towards any party in particular, but it's clear what people don't want!

I'm with you, this is getting through without any support from the RW fringe.

Look what he lists too.

More than we spend on NDIS, Medicare etc. Yeah, that's because when your indigenous you don't get access to the usual services the rest of us get, you get access to indigenous services so the government can claim they are spending extra money on indigenous services when in actual fact they are just supplying the services all Australians get. It is a way to make funding for Indigenous Australians look a lot bigger than it really is.

Indigenous education, counted as part of the indigenous funding, same goes for Aboriginal Legal Services. The rest of us get schooling supplied and legal aid for being a citizen, if you're a black fella the funding is counted as specific for black fellas.

Plus, how much of this funding goes to white fella bureaucrats - heaps!
