I Hate Collingwood

Bump. :mhihi

With all this copying us stuff, what Ginnivan said shows that Fly is not exactly a great coach. He comes across as too academic. In 2022, they started to show what we did from 2017 with players looking relaxed, smiling, upbeat which mentally made them play well. However, Ginnivan made a statement since joining the Dorks in that he was able to be himself. Therefore, what exactly did Fly allow at that sh!t club? It all looks like short-term success. He speaks like a psychologist, they play like brainwashed zombies barely natural and able to win games close and from behind. This resurgence was too short-term. Now it looks like his 'magic potion' has run out and reality has finally hit them. Best thing is they are NOWHERE near as good as we were.

I loved Jack’s take on Ginnivan’s comments. He said Richmond’s policy was “a wide paddock with strong fences”

Funny to hear pies fans were booing Ginnivan 12 months after crying when other teams booed him.
I'm not particularly a fan, but also good to see him BOG against them.

Pies to make ‘big decisions’ on veterans or risk being in a ‘hole for a long time’

Having had the oldest team in the competition in Round 19, the Pies would currently have 11 players on their list aged 30 plus in 2025.
That includes champion trio Scott Pendlebury (37), Jeremy Howe (35) and Steele Sidebottom (34), who are all out of contract but reports have indicated are keen to play on, as well as Mason Cox (34), Jamie Elliott (33), Brody Mihocek, Tom Mitchell, Will Hoskin-Elliott, Jack Crisp, (all 32), Dan McStay and Darcy Cameron (both 30).

Magpies president Jeff Browne told the Herald Sun earlier this year the club would continue to prioritise topping up at the trade table to remain in flag contention

Topping up?
Yes, we’ve all seen how well that goes.

Browne's comments in addition to the Tassie team arriving just as the Pies are about to enter the abyss of mediocrity makes me very happy.
