Goodbye Mabior Chol

I have absolutely no idea how that mark wasn't paid.

Do they show this rubbish to the umpires?

Pivotal decision.

DS
Very true re the mark but Chol’s lack of intensity when he’s having a bad night is far too obvious. Too many half hearted efforts. This guy is so gifted but there’s far to big a gap between his best & worst.

Chop played well.
Poor call on the non mark.
Don't matter next week.
Go tiges

The non mark was the biggest joke of the night and potentially swung momentum as they went straight down the other end when we should have been kicking for goal.

He was good in the ruck against Finlayson but was comfortably beaten by Jacobs (as you would expect).

But if he had the desire he would have srugged it off and continued to compete

Yep and that is part of Dimma's mantra - you can only control what you can control - he should have assumed the mark wasn't paid and gone after the ball. Something he should have learned given how often Dimma harps on about this.

Reckon he's a couple of years off being a regular contributor. Lots of patience needed still.

Dogs probably don't suit him, small and quick. Interesting to see if he holds his place.

Forget about that mark for a minute
Really poor last night , after a few good weeks . Never seen a player actually confused as he was at times last night . Didn’t when to go or not to go to a contest .

Tend to agree, stig.
He has been pretty solid recently and even showed some glimpses of his latent talent last night but he couldn't string much together.

It was like he had mental blanks on what to do .

Given his height, agility for a big man and some very fine skills the day he believes it's okay to assert himself on the contest and on the game he could be a phenomenal player.
But I am starting to understand that he is probably still a 'work in progress' player. His best is still probably two years away.
