Goodbye Mabior Chol

Has some extra tools, once he gets the basics rocking he could provide a real point of difference.

Weve got a few of those Chol, Balta, Shai, Stack
 
He seems to be reading the game a lot better and certainly goes in when needed. It is a slow burn but he is improving and now at the level where he should keep his spot easily.

I really liked that mark he took, I was watching it figuring he thought he needed to hang on forever or they wouldn't pay the mark.

If he knuckles down he could a Ottens/ Justin Charles type for us.

Had to laugh at Richo after Chol's goal-assisting pass to Castagna, said something like 'he's got a lot of footy smarts for a big bloke'.

Signs of a very unselfish player tonight......he could have gone down the path of self preservation, but he played the team card!
loved it......if he fluffs it, he has a second effort, if he realises that he can’t mark it, he brings it to ground to favour, if he gets possession , he doesn’t panic........he is now starting to fit in, he is starting to believe...yes, he will make some mistakes, and will play a few more stinkers, but.......he is now truly on the way

I'm an unabashed Mabs fan. Love the bloke. He's always in the game. If he doesn't mark it, he's battling with the crumbers for the crumb. His kicking is elite which is amazing for a bloke of his size.

Thing I like about Chol is that when he's resting forward, he doesn't make us too tall because he can get down and move fast like a mid-sized player. Incredibly versatile, much like Balta.

Not your traditional tall like has been mentioned,

Might be the player many thought McBean could’ve been :)
 
He is just like Cyril. The numbers don't really matter as much. His impact is phenomenal. His acceleration is freakish ..... Hunts guys like a young Cotchin and he leaps like Buddy but actually utilizises his reach. That left leg and decision making are bloody good.

His decision making has improved out of sight.

If he takes it up a notch it will be amazing: tall, can run, can pick up the ball off the turf, can tackle, can mark, can kick, can sidestep, learning to read the game.

So much upside.
