Mid season he was lighting it up. Now he's struggling to get a touch.
Did the mid season controversy have a bigger effect than first thought because the drop off has been marked.

i think some are over stating his form. he showed flashes, but that is all.

I was just looking up contract statuses and FMD if Chol doesn't have another year to go. We extended him last year.

Would only be on a base salary n match payments, emergency role player n hole filler if we have some injury n form issues. Big enough to play KPP/Ruck but most times I've seen him play he seems more like a HFF, maybe we're playing him out of position.

I have, he's quick for a big fella. He's usually pretty well balanced, good below his knees, mobile as n a beautiful simple kick of the pill. Not so good in heavy traffic, contested marking n rucking. That's why I seem to feel he'd be better utilised playing a high half forward role roaming up to wing or coming back to a pocket without the congested heat on him.

Assuming he plays, I expect Andrews will play on (and off) him and try to dominate on intercept. If so Chol's job will be to get dangerous enough that Andrews has to worry about him, but also keep Andrews out of the way. and compete when the ball comes to them.

Chol failed. but tough job for a forward (who isnt Jack Riewoldt) to worry more about their opponent than the ball.
