Goodbye Mabior Chol

We seem to have forgotten a lesson from our 2017 campaign. Don’t put maintaining structure above having 22 players ready, willing and able to compete. Since the GCS game it’s been clear that when Chol plays we go in one short.
Another downfall of his is that he appears to have the pain threshold of a grasshopper. Time to give the giant basketballer a go next year

We went through this in 2017 but worked out mid-season that we were better off without Todd Elton in the 22. It shouldn't have come to a final to realise that we couldn't carry Todd MkII in the team.

You can’t teach a player intensity & desire. It’s ingrained - either have it or they don’t. He doesn’t. Doesn’t enjoy contact. In that case, AFL isn’t for him. Lots of talent but bruise free football doesn’t wash.

He has the tools, that's why it kills many of us to watch him fail due to effort. Don't care if you don't clunk the marks, but boy oh boy don't you dare not tackle your oppo like a tiger on a gazelle.

He has to go after his last 2 games.

Broad Ross Markov all get the arse playing good footy yet this bloke is gifted games.

Caddy shouldve played ahead of him if fit.

Balta in the ruck to help Nank, Broad goes back, Lynch forward Chol out.

Proven performers in Lynch, Caddy Broad simple for mine.

The Tigers without Soldo all season next year may not even get the chance to have another go at it without another half decent ruck.

His loss is huge and has been felt since he went out.

Need to roll the dice and attack it this year, we might not get another shot at it, nothing is a given.

Chol not doing his job to help out Jack, gets Jack bashed all game even moreso leaving him exposed to more collision damage / knocks /injuries from 2nd and 3rd men jumping into him as opposed to one on one contests that he has to recover from.

All extra niggles that could hamper his performance or out put in the next game.

What's happened here?
Mid season he was lighting it up. Now he's struggling to get a touch.
Did the mid season controversy have a bigger effect than first thought because the drop off has been marked.

His best was both Lynch and Riewoldt were playing.

Watching the Saints backline mark everything today hightens the importance of Lynch's return even more.

Does anyone think Chol might be given another week to prove himself?

It’s not his fault that soldo CJ and Lynch weren’t right to play.
it was his first final.
most of our team Members were below their best. Some really poor skills and dumb footy
