Goodbye Mabior Chol

Been thinking about who plays second ruck if Macs gets dropped, it'd be a big call, but Miller couldn't do any worse.
You obviously haven't seen him play.

I've been to at least 10 of his games and I'm not sure I've seen him play.

Balta or Broad for second ruck.

Mabs cannot play finals after that.

My biggest issue with 2 phones is this lack of intensity.

Cannot be bringing that to finals, and against the Bears at the Gabba or the Kochies at Moron Park we cannot be carrying anyone.

We win the Q/F we win the flag IMO its critical.

Broad in can play back to release the Beast Noah to assist Nank, or Broad just goes in and has a crack himself.

Either way we have another runner through the middle.

Poor old Mabs does the little man things better than he does the big man things, and you can’t get away with that unless you’re Buddy. Three deep all night, and just no clue as to how to impact an aerial contest. Even when he was camped in front he instinctively snuck to the back by the time the ball arrived.
Miller time?
I think Miller May come into the equation if he plays well in the next practice game and they don’t go with Chol.
Also if they overlook Broad and want a second genuine ruck option.
But I wouldn’t be confident with Miller.

3 disposals, 2 hit-outs in 77‰ game time as forward backup ruck just doesn't cut it. Maybe if he would get in front and bring it to ground but he doesn't. He somehow starts in front and ends up behind, he has very poor reaction time. And he never seems to use his leap. Seen him leap very high in the ruck on the odd occasion he chooses to do so but never seems to take advantage of this when trying to mark. There's just too many things to fix going into a finals series. I'd be very surprised if he's given another chance.

I was just answering TjsFurrow question "Miller time?"

Miller couldn't do any worse. Mabs was pathetic today........again.

So bloody frustrating. He had 10 x better games than that earlier in the season.

he was basically playing for a finals spot if not his career tonight & he serves up that lackadaisical performance?

Was there something wrong with him? because that was awful.

The Lynch man in for Cholly when the finals start.
Nank b playin like he wants his third flag right now, n I reckon he'll hold up fine for a hand full of finals with a bit of a 2017 chop out in the ruck.
Unfortunately Cholly does the occasional titbit really well and then does a lot of nothing much.
Just doesn't seem to be able to read the incoming high ball at all n simply gets lost at the crucial moment of the contest. Wish it were otherwise, but I'm doubting whether he ever gets beyond almost exciting nearly player.

Thought he needed to be W Carey in the first half.

Played a humble, workmanlike second half, bringing the ball to ground MUCH better. Lo and behold, the team was much better.

Will play against the Bears and probably do well if he keeps things simple.

I was thinking about this ,

Can lynch just replace marbs , and then balta , caddy, lynch , Jack , dave... whoever Chip in to help out ,

At least we will be stronger around the ground

I am going to try to watch the replay through your eyes, Carts.

Can’t be dropped as we are no longer a one ruck mob. IF he keeps things simple, Spooker, he’ll be alright
I'm a fan, Carts, but it was like he went out of his way to get dropped. I thought the Port game might have been a turning point re intensity and fighting for front position, but then ... tonight.

He's a bloke who needs a cuddle, and his best is in our 22 right now, but...

Every player except Marbs played his role tonight. We just cant drop a Ross type and keep Marbs in.

That was Marbs chance to cement a spot in our team to play finals and he failed miserably
Can’t have such lack of intensity in finals
Need to play 2 rucks pity we couldn’t have 1 more game before finals to try Miller
Well have to go with Balta in the ruck & Broad going back
