Goodbye Mabior Chol

Looking like he is about to tear a game apart at some stage. Very hard to find those sort of players.

Always feel like he has had more disposals then credited for.

Needs to clunk those marks. Starting to read the flight and getting into better marking positions but needs stronger hands. He'll be a player if he can hold onto those contested marks
True, Harry, but you can say the same about Tom Lynch and even Jack this season.
Not many players around any more like Royce Hart - nearly one grab every time. Once the ball hit his hands, it stayed there.

Thing I liked most about his game was the impact he had when he didn’t have the ball, highlights are great , but the little 1% things could make him very very handy

His decision making has improved out of sight.

If he takes it up a notch it will be amazing: tall, can run, can pick up the ball off the turf, can tackle, can mark, can kick, can sidestep, learning to read the game.

So much upside.

DS

When he smashed into Crozier (? i think) at the forward 50 marking contest, he just got straight back up. I bet Crozier didnt even think Chol would make it to the contest. I cant wait to see him against NicNat in the ruck.

Wow Chol is Buddy and Cyril rolled into 1. Could end up being the best player ever.

In the near future, his type will be regarded as the prototype modern footballer. Mark my words, in 5-10 years time, guys like Chol and Balta will be running the wings and flanks as well as rucking and holding down key positions. Guys built like Caddy and Townsend – unless they have an exceptional point of difference (Dusty) – will be incrementally squeezed out.

While it's well known that Chol is Sudanese, a lesser known fact is that he is also descended from an octopus. If you look closely when the ball hits the ground in congestion, he seems to have eight arms and legs that stretch out to trap opponents, hit the ball clear or get a boot to it. This may also explain why he feels uncomfortable about eating calamari.

Yep with confidence he also will start hurting opponents like Noah and Marlion and Stackie.
We've got a few hard nuts, craig.
Noah, Marlion, Stack, Broad, Kmac, Soldo, Aarts, Baker. I'd put Chimpa in that category too.

He can be the difference this year.
With jack not playing at 100% and lynch still nursing a broken hand.
He could mesmerize the opppstion.
Im expecting cholly to have a huge impact on tuezdey night.
They haven't got 3 tall defenders capable of stopping all of lynch, jack and Chol.
