A freakish round from Toms where apparently Toms didn't miss a fairway or green and kept one putting. He said that no one would have beaten Toms but he played well enough that he would have won some of the other singles matches.

Incredible.

I didn't realize he said that. It is unbelievable.

He is a class act Allenby.

Serious?

Wasnt Allenby 4 over or thereabouts when the match finished?

Serious. Some of the Americans must have been 5 over in their games then I guess!

Geoff Ogilvy tweeted yesterday "Warms the heart to see Robert playing so well this week".

Read into that what you will.

Allenby continues to act classily wanting to fight Ogilvy following the tweet above.

GOLF JOKE

Jesus and Moses go for a game of golf one day and Jesus has the honour of teeing off first on the 389m par 4 1st. He hits his drive and it rolls towards the rough when all of the sudden a rabbit picks the ball up in his mouth and starts running across the fairway. Out of no where an eagle flies down and grabs the rabbit, still with ball in mouth, and flies off. Jesus and Moses are watching in amazement when all of the sudden the eagle gets hit by a bolt of lightning which kills it instantly and the eagle drops the rabbit, the rabbit falls back to earth and dies on impact which forces it to spit the ball out of its mouth and the ball rolls into the hole for a hole in one. Jesus turns to look at Moses but Moses has picked his clubs up and is walking off, Jesus asks "Hey Moses, where are you going?". Moses replies "If you and your old man are going to f*&k around like that all day, Im going home"

It's been reported in the media that unfortunately Jarrod Lyle has leukemia again.

His story is an inspirational one so let's hope he has the same success 2nd time around.

Ah, the Masters. A weekend where no wife, no kids and no job can interrupt me.

I like Mahan, Choi and Haas. All big odds though Hunter has been smashed given he's on fire in Houston.

A man after my own heart. Best single sporting event on the planet for mine. Great to have it over Easter although work has never interrupted a Masters finish for me. Will definitely get there one day.

Couples to make the cut is always a lock.

Think Woods is almost a good thing. Mickleson always in the mix for a high finish.

What a day of golf. Mickleson played an amazing 3rd shot on 15. The obvious favorite now. Been a super effort given he was 4 over after his first 12 holes day 1.

He is great to watch when he is on a roll. How was his approach at 18 bending it around the trees.

A round at Augusta is near the top of my bucket list.

US Open starts tomorrow and the track looks quite menacing. Perhaps only a couple under par could win and will come down to who survives holes 1-6, which look deadly. Will need a good scrambler and someone solid on the greens. Stricker for me with fellow roughies Yang, A lottery with regards to the Aussies. Will go with Baddeley on putting skills alone.

Need to hit the fairways and be long off the tee, big penalties for those that stray.

Baddely to erratic off the tee for mine, senden to be best aussie

On a different topic, anyone used the iPhone app Golfshot GPS? Looks pretty good but not sure if £20 is too much to pay for an app.
