Cameron Smith, whilst not winning, became the first ever player to shoot 4 rounds in the 60’s.

Theres even been talk of every player using a ball manufactured by the club, not their sponsored ball.

They have fought against technology making the course too easy for a while now.

Yeh, heard Rahm whingeing about the wind on 12. He pulled it. When you pull it it goes longer.

He constantly complains about conditions affecting his shots.

Spieth seemingly can't help himself, wonder he hasn't employed a sports physc to try and calm mimself a bit.

Spieth has lost the plot as far as I am concerned.

His swing has become as un-natural a thing as you will see in pro golf.

Prior to backswing he adjusts his thumbs constantly, can’t/won’t keep ‘em still.

Then at top of backswing does some other adjustment, with his wrists I think.

I am no swing technician, clueless actually, but his swing now seems forced. There’s nothing natural about it imo.

Watching the replay of the 1987 event , pretty sure Norman hit 7 iron from 165 yards( 150 metres) just shows how much technology has changed the game , especially the ball.
