One thing with Samson. He engages his opponent and starts grappling in the ruck contest but he’s not strong enough to do it, so is constantly out muscled. Thereby taking away maybe the only trick he has in his bag - tap ruck.
Was thinking the exact same thing.
Regardless of injury and personnel, we should be able to see a game plan by now.
The only constant in our play is that infuriating chip to the pocket after a kick in.
Really concerning
Was Balta off that quarter? Pretty hard for a guy his size to completely vanish, but he managed it.
Short’s had 21 possessions but has been ineffective and insipid in one on one contests. If he’s to remain, he has to go wing or forward. We defend one man down with him.
