CORRECT, to underplay what all 22 did during that era is is a great injustice to legends of this great Club.

Hmmm, well that is definitely concerning indeed.Hopper has been very poor for weeks in the first half. In the last 3 weeks he hasn't had more than 7 disposals in the 1st half. Appears to pickup in 2nd half but need him firing from the start. Been overall disappointing imo since coming back from injury.
It's a rhetorical question. How many flags without Castagna? We'll never know. How many flags without dusty
I agree Scoop. At times we played really good footy. It just seemed every time we got a break there was a momentum killer, some self inflicted and some not .The best game of the year.
At times the best we’ve played.
At times the best pressure we‘ve applied.
Combination of shocking umpiring and our old timers looking lost in a high pressure game.
We also ran out of gas. Gawn outstanding but Soldo battled his arse off. Effort not the issue.
The best 20 grand Essendon ever spent was in the fine James Hird copped for getting stuck into the umpires (McLaren?) on The Footy Show. They got looked after for years after that. Its about time the club called the umpiring out - what have they got to lose?
Unfortunately yes, struggling.
Taken off in the first for 9 mins?
Why?
Haven’t seen the coach presser.
Was he asked?
I did no such thing and I fart in your general direction Troll for suggesting it, now back under your Bridge !You literally just backed a post that said soldo was doing better on Gawn than nank would have
and Gil in there giving them an absolute reaming wouldn't have helped either. You can imagine the PSTD in the umpire's room at half time when they realised we were so far ahead.
Yep, the effort was there and that’s what’s so frustrating. Normally when we bring that level of effort we win - against anybody. But our tall defenders were totally defective today, and yes, our aged superstars were missing in battle too.The best game of the year.

NO, prime movers and your Superstars are most likely to win games in the last quarter of BIG Important games that are close.22 players, not 2.
Sensational.Looking for positives, how good was Balta's goal?

I'd go with 4, he was definitely responsible for Cox having that day out in '18.... Lanky Yanky Pr!ck, I'll never forgive him for thatIt's a rhetorical question. How many flags without Castagna? We'll never know.
I seriously hope we DON'T need a coach who just coaches Handball............. tell me it isn't so please !Who is our handball coach, and why does he teach our guys to handball at feet?
Its a pity the bloke that "bob' up against the same opposition was sitting in the stands tonight.oh well looked good for a while. Beats me how some nobody always bobs up against us.
