Game day Tigers v Hawks

Very strong win, that 3rd quarter was outstanding.

The umpiring was clearly biased in the 2nd half, the first half was pretty even (despite missing the most obvious trip - where the Hawk will be fined by the MRO - which we could see 150m away in the Great Southern Stand). Something changed in the 3rd and they decided they weren't going to pay frees to the Tiges anymore, and if Nank sneezed they were paying frees against him.

Lynch was brilliant, clearly the gameplan today was to look for Lynch - those claiming Jack was rubbish weren't at the game. He was a decoy, he was never going to be touching it much, it was a very selfless performance by him today. Teams will be shitting their pants right now thinking about the form that Lynch is in.

Dan Rioli again was immense. David King needs to open his eyes if he thinks that Sinclair and Saad impacted their games as much as Rioli does for us. IMO easily the most impactful half back this year.

Cotch and Prestia were terrific in the midfield yet again. These 2 are so important for a flag tilt this year.

MRJ - easily the most impactful game I have seen from him, everytime he went near it, he made something happen either with ball in hand or with his pressure.

Miller - I loved his game. We've found a fantastic ruck balance right at the perfect time. His tap work is very good, and so are his 2nd efforts. Also provides that balance between being able to go forward and impact. His tap down in the 3rd for Cumberlands goal was terrific footy smarts. We've got a good one here guys.
To be fair David King has Rioli in his AA side.

Big crowd today. First time I have been to a Tiger game since 2019 with that tribal tiger army feel.
It was awesome to feel like that again

Yeah I felt that too.

I've been to almost every game this year, and this felt like 2019.

The second half against Blandbane was huge. 20K fewer in the crowd than today but enormous noise as we came back.

Wouldn't mind giving a couple guns more rest in the last from here. Percentage means nothing.
No resting. The week off before the finals negates the need for resting players. We have momentum and need to keep it. No flirting with form.

Ah ok fair enough. Thought I heard him on radio read his side out and had Rioli in the side. Might be wrong.

Maybe he's changed his mind.

He has to do that every year for the flag favourites as he continuously gets let down by the Bombers who are usually his February premiers.

But performance does. The old cliche applies here. Don't flirt with form. Regardless of what we think about the close losses it's only the last 2.5 matches we have been purring. We can have a rest like the other 8 finalistsin two weeks. (Just occurred to me that gives Dusty three more weeks to get the hammy right)

How many weeks is Grimes off?
Don't think we can win a final without Martin or Grimes.

Get em both back and its on.
