We are winning the whole thing.

Grimes for Gibcus if he somehow gets fit. Gibcus nowhere near ready for finals football.

Thought we were in trouble with the next generation coming through but how good is it to see that we have unearthed some talent. Miller, Sonsie, Mrj, Cumberland looking the goods. Gibcus will be a gun as well once he gets his confidence.
The last draft has some gems and if we trade smartly for a few mids we aint going anywhere

A bit of a harsh judgement, but on today's game, who would you rather have, Gibcus or Grainger-Barrass?

Grainger-Barrass got schooled today by Lynch. Sure, he was always going to struggle, but as a key defender you have to be comfortable going body on body when needed. It was extraordinary how little physical pressure Lynch was under virtually all day.

Grainger Barras was rubbish and its either he's soft as, or Mitchell doesn't trust him. He initially didn't lineup on Lynch, they left it to the rookies in Jeka and then Blanck. Grainger Barras only went on him in the 2nd I think and had goals kicked on him too. The only defence he had of Lynch was to continually hit him in the back. Lynch then took him to the cleaners so they moved Sicily back on him and Grainger Barras (their "gun" tall defender) went onto Cumberland.

I'd Gibcus over him with no second thought whatsoever.

Cotch, Edwards, Prestia and Lynch - best game I have seen them play individually this year - great form at the right time of year and they can sniff finals - that’s what they know.

Energy from junior, Cumbs, Sonsie, Millar and Gibs all wanting to play their first final.

Our wingers are dominant- Pickett and Mac - essential for finals

The only question mark is our defence - grimes back will tighten that up

And then there is Dusty.

We are primed and ready, our game is up and running.

Very strong win, that 3rd quarter was outstanding.

The umpiring was clearly biased in the 2nd half, the first half was pretty even (despite missing the most obvious trip - where the Hawk will be fined by the MRO - which we could see 150m away in the Great Southern Stand). Something changed in the 3rd and they decided they weren't going to pay frees to the Tiges anymore, and if Nank sneezed they were paying frees against him.

Lynch was brilliant, clearly the gameplan today was to look for Lynch - those claiming Jack was rubbish weren't at the game. He was a decoy, he was never going to be touching it much, it was a very selfless performance by him today. Teams will be shitting their pants right now thinking about the form that Lynch is in.

Dan Rioli again was immense. David King needs to open his eyes if he thinks that Sinclair and Saad impacted their games as much as Rioli does for us. IMO easily the most impactful half back this year.

Cotch and Prestia were terrific in the midfield yet again. These 2 are so important for a flag tilt this year.

MRJ - easily the most impactful game I have seen from him, everytime he went near it, he made something happen either with ball in hand or with his pressure.

Miller - I loved his game. We've found a fantastic ruck balance right at the perfect time. His tap work is very good, and so are his 2nd efforts. Also provides that balance between being able to go forward and impact. His tap down in the 3rd for Cumberlands goal was terrific footy smarts. We've got a good one here guys.

Jack R has had an absolute shocker.
No mate, could have kicked 3 or 4.
Provided space for Lynch and Cumberland.

You can only see that being at the ground and it was a very selfless game.

Yes on TV it prob looked like crap.

Bit of both really. I was there. Tunnled.a hawk that allowed Lynch at least one. Kept presenting in last which is great sign.

Yeh he has dropped off big time from early season form. Too many half hearted one hand attempts and low intensity. He’s not in our best 22 if all available. Not close really.
Body is way short of one that will.hd up.in finals. Has to be put in ice. Emergency use only.
