Game day Tigers v Hawks

I saw Edwards grab his hammy twice before going off after the tackle. Very odd they’d bother to put him back out.

10-20 Frees against. Back to normal. Flogs can't do much when we're leading so just suck into this.

Pleasing this was second game in a row that we have won the clearances by 11 and contested possessions by 15 good signs.

Best 4 quarter performance this year. We have been building last 3 weeks even those close losses there we're sign's every week we a getting closer closer to our best.

No resting next week winning is the best
formula confidence up and fine tune our game further if someone's got a niggle rest him otherwise business as usual.

A bit of a harsh judgement, but on today's game, who would you rather have, Gibcus or Grainger-Barrass?

Grainger-Barrass got schooled today by Lynch. Sure, he was always going to struggle, but as a key defender you have to be comfortable going body on body when needed. It was extraordinary how little physical pressure Lynch was under virtually all day.

Prestia and Cotchin are so so important. Anything is possible if those 2 can have a big September

We looked sharp today. Hopefully peaking at the right time.

I said pre-game I wanted us to keep them to 9 goals or fewer (and thought we'd kick 20). They missed a few they should have kicked but the maggots gave them more opportunities than they deserved, so I'll call that job done.

i reckon Hawks got about 7 of them in the last Q .. so thankfully a little inconsequential ...

Well... this looks familiar!

Fees like I've seen this movie before.

Just read an interesting little snippet on Foxsports.

The Tigers haven't lost a game by more than a goal since Round 6.

We haven't been outplayed by anyone for 3 months.

This year we've had a very consistently competitive run into the finals.

Nobody can solve Richmond - maybe they can fall over the line if they get lucky and we have a lot of injuries, but nobody can outplay us to put the result in their hands.

Very solid effort today. That was really a 75 point win if it weren’t for the abject cheating performance that Mollison and co put on in the second half.

Pretty sure we've been in the lead at some stage in the 3rd or 4th quarter of every game this year.

While W & L are what ultimately count, these stats bode very well for us when it's time to play finals footy. Umps tend to be a better more even too in Finals.
