Game Day Tigers V Giants

Yeah his great at the little things. Might need some big things.

Lynch not going as well as last year either.
The problem is that the synergy between Jack and Lynch isnt there so far this season. Both of them are competing for the same marks thereby bringing their defenders with them. Too predictable - one of them needs to get on their bike (Jack).

How about this for an idea.
Get Martin 1 on 4 in the 50 and kick it to space.
Give the young fella a challenge.
Reckon the new stat will be Martin v 4 wins at 76%
Go tigers

Martin inside 50 by himself.

Clear the lazy smalls out.

Let Lynch & Jack drag their tall defenders away.

That’s an ideal just bombing it and congesting our F50 isn’t working.

Exactly seperation.

Teams have learnt from Buckley- flood our backline and try to win on the odd counter.

How many times did we see 2 or 3 giants standing against 1 of our forwards - which is why we can’t score and they struggle to get it past our centre line.

I dont want to lay the boots into him - but as a leader Jack has really got to lift. I know he does little things every now and then, but as a leader and one of our highest paid players he needs to chase harder and keep the ball moving. Too often I see him with a token chase where he jogs after/towards the opposition, or when he takes a mark he takes an eternity to move it quickly (an example being the mark he took in the middle, we had free players ahead of the ball, instead he took his time and went wide to Broad I think who then bombed it inside 50 with GWS having had time to flood back).

Come on Jack. Big second half.
How many teams can say their worst player is their captain?!?!
Essendon.... St Kilda?

Yeh the real stuff a little different to 16 a side scratch matches. Another Lennon Ellis type. Nice skills.

Naish has been OK. 3rd most contested possessions and more tackles than 15 other players. Needs a bit of slack.

If they stack the back line, just spread. Work the numbers. Someone will get free.
Exactly. It's like we have no plan B. We just have to keep doing what we normally do no matter how badly it's going.

Change it up FFS Tigers.

If people want to see the perfect issue with the HTB decision making at the moment, take a look at the one there to Soldo. He was the only one that went the ball, picked it up and as he was coming back up is tackled and arms pinned. HTB for some reason. How about we reward players that actually go for the *smile* ball.

Both arms pinned and I’m sure the ump said didn’t make an attempt
