If we're going to be realistic, imo there are 4 younger/fill-in players in today's line-up that simply aren't good enough at AFL level. Miller, Young, Mansell and M Rioli. Ralphsmith is line-ball. Players today who are on their last legs, Cotchin, Dusty, Grimes, Reiwoldt, Vlastuin, Prestia, Pickett, KMac. Add to that list, Tarrant, Lynch, Broad and Nanks who have seen better days, where are we, in the short-term going to find players of the calibre of those who took us to our premiership years, especially now we've given up 3x1st rounders and a second over 2 years? We'll be stuck with an abundance of highly speculative players. This is why I don't think we should have picked up both Taranto and Hopper. Their prime is now and we're not going to be very competitive for quite some time. From a list management perspective we're in a bit of trouble. Same mistakes made as Hawks it seems.
