And that’s reason enough to bring in a coach from out of our system.

Players need to be re-wired.

Will always love Dimma but his complaints about playing there, whether home games or not, gave the players an out for not performing there. That mindset needs to be changed.

If I had a choice I would have to say the best players for the Saints today were our defence

So disappointing how much we have fallen away the past few weeks. We were balls deep in with a finals spot opportunity and we have just capitulated without a yelp. Shades of 2021. New coach needed.

Its as if all the energy used in Chimps 300th has sapped this team like a dried out Prune, been nothing shown at all since that performance.

Broady had 3 votes penciled in at the 10th minute mark of the 1st quarter for mine.

The rot began when we started gifting games to Sheds to get to 300 and done the same for Cotch this year. Club legends or not you need to make the hard calls. Which is why i have the utmost respect for Astbury.

We don't need nice guys coaching us if this is the best we can expect so hopefully we get some up and coming assistants with innovative ideas to help our new coach (not Mini) who ever it is

Reality is we haven't been good all year. Largest win 46 against Eagles. Since massive Brisbane loss, beat Swans by 13, Eagles by 28, Hawks by 1. We're just not good enough. We're years from being a force again. There's not alot of A Grade quality in our young crop. Will need a few years of recruiting. Should have started 2 years ago.

2 things that stood out for me. How easy Saints ambled out of their backline and switched back into the middle of the ground and how many times our short kicks to a teammate landed short of them.
