GAME DAY THREAD - TIGES V POWER

The stupid thing is there was another time when Nanks took a mark and I counted no less than 4 Port players in close vicinity making no effort to exit the area. Just be consistent you silly d!cks.

What about Georgiadis brainfade running over the mark before play on was called and no 50 being [aid. Probably the most blatant 50 you will see.

I am not concerned at all at the moment.

If I have learnt anything at all over the last two years, it is that we start the season slowly.

For a team that is supposedly a premiership favourite, Port had to show a lot more than they did tonight for me to be worried.

West Coast and Western Bulldogs look like much bigger challengers to me.

Those bagging bachar are clueless, one of our best.

Pickett needs to go, just such a momentum killer
Ross just too slow and gone backwards from yr 1
Aarts will get dropped and probably come in for rioli, basically net zero gain there
Martyn and Mansell just looked like a boys playing a mans game. Compare them to their 1st gamer Jones. Both nowhere close to senior footy.

Picketts ok .Ross Suns 2022. Aarts give me Rioli Caddy anytime. Think Nank might need a back up . Llynch wants to get the runs on the board.. Anyway not disgraced & no injuries where porters might need a few crutches after tonight.

Agreed. I actually think Carlton will beat Port next week.

It was on his hip. No pull of the jumper whatsoever. Run of the mill football contest.

What did you think of Allir’s hand on Lynch’s throat on the goal line? Or are you only here to stir *smile*?
Lynch was getting held by his head.

BY HIS HEAD!

In the goal square. There was literally nothing else that the umpires could be looking at.

We were penetrated by DeBoy tonight. He's a cheat. And I've thought that when he's umpires us previously.

Didn't stop anyone bagging Egg last week and Martyns game was worse. Sorry but he is that far away from AFL footy. He was caught 2 times early and then still had zero awareness and got caught numerous times after that. Look at Ports debutant and compare. Not good enough and looks like another Ross
He wasn't playing Egg's position. Egg had 2 contested possies, plays outside and still only managed 9 disposals. He's 23yo and played 9 games of AFL. The comparison is just silly. Not sure if you've played footy but it does take time when stepping up to get used the vastly increased pace. Making judgement on 1 game is inane. Even some of the best players had poor early games. Will he make it, who knows, but I'm not judging his future on one game. I've liked what Ive seen in praccie games and I think there's good potential. We shall see.

Yep Jonathon Brown loves to say he didn't touch the ball in his 1st 3 games. Dimmauchamp would have delisted him after those 3 games.

Amazing that we are just 7 points down

34-20 inside 50s, 21-8 clearances, 12-4 marks inside 50 and of course 13-6 frees

We really miss Prestia when he isn’t playing
2nd half much better
29-27 inside 50s in our favour, 16–15 clearances .
Thats why we got back in the game.
We probably lost the game in the 2nd quarter

Why do we bother tackling?
Good question. Umps so inconsistent with incorrect disposal. Reckon I counted atleast 10 tackles were PA players did not dispose of the ball correctly. And then Houli gets paid holding the ball when he marked it. Umps never ever pay holding the ball when ball was touched and player marks and didn't know.

We need a tall to come in chol, Cj or even Sampson.
We need another mid to come in
Cd

We are gonna get absolutely reamed by the umpires tonight. You just know-sense it. I sensed it last night before the Arsendon game and I've got it again tonight.

Wish you could get a +10 free kick differential market to bet on somewhere.
Best prediction of the day. Reamed we were.

I've seen this in just about every game we play. 3 flags or no 3 flags.

Dimma's joking with the journos on some dumpiring decisions and you can see he wants to break out but pauses....too obvious we just can't win.
