Mark Fisher would have knocked back that many players from playing over the last 25 years, under verbal and physical threats, pressure from coaches and players and just generally felt like the loneliest bloke in the world. Last night would have been a simple task for him if they weren't right.
And what do the brain surgeons who know better think happened? "Hey boys, what do you reckon the chances are that the TV cameras didn't pick up that massive collision? Reckon we can sneak them back on and no-one will notice?"
