GAME DAY – R14 Tiges v Blues

My late reply and it may have been mentioned already but I'm hoping Bauer will keep on developing. Remember there are so many players who played little to no footy for past 2 years so we'll have a better idea what talent is really out there after this year.
Hope he does too , not sure helll ever have the frame to be a key forward though, height isn’t the only factor , look at McJesus ;)

What a great Round this was.:clap2

Thurs Arvo 9th
Thurs Night 8th
Fri Night 7th
Sat Arvo 6th.

Keep going, Tiges!:))

If we beat Geelong by 44 points and Carlton lose to Freo (very possible) we will be fourth as long as none of Sydney, St Kilda or Collingwood have huge wins.
Won't happen and doesn't even matter if it does, but it's an indication of how close we are.

From Fox Footy

- Montagna said it was the record lowest score (81 pts) for any team with 75+ forward 50 entries.

- Blamed having the ball in our forward half so much that Carlton flooded. Slippery conditions combined with large numbers in our F50 made scoring difficult.

- Time in forward half differential was twice that of Melbourne's average (+9 to +10 mins).

- Jordan Lewis said it's a glass full/empty scenario. When you go inside 50 you've got to have diversity. You should win by 10 goals with that many inside 50s.

Certainly agree with Carlton flooding our forward line. Seemed like they had 20 blokes there at times.

Whately this morning discussing the Rich v Carlton game with Luke Hodge:

Topic 1: how Carlton performed and how undermanned they were.

Topic 2: Bolton showing Docherty the ball.

Topic 3: did Broad touch the ball and the ARC review.

Zero discussion on who won the game. Just odd really.

Crickets and tumbleweeds when we win.

Front and back page analysis when we lose.

Standard.

Poor Blues supporter Marion has called in and sounds as if she's had a sleepless night... spoken to high level people at Carlton and tells us that Voss will be taking things further if Lynch is not rubbed out for his eye gouge on Saad.
She's threatened to continue to go on with it herself if nothing happens...

I'll keep everyone updated on Marions quest for justice... it'll no doubt be riveting stuff:rolleyes:

I've been concerned about Marion's wellbeing over the weekend as I've not heard from her, so a shoutout to anyone who knows how she's going.... whip round, check she's taking her heart medication, make her a cuppa and tuck her in if need be.

Fortunately, I think she has a son who's taken up her fight for justice... just called in running the same argument but having watched it on a 70" HD TV (stolen no doubt) he wants to know why Lynch wasn't charged with using Saad's head as a bowling ball, when he looked straight at him and proceeded to stick his thumb in his eye.....! :rotfl2:rotfl2:rotfl2:rotfl2:rotfl2:rotfl2:rotfl2:rotfl2

What I love about our supporters and especially my brethren on PRE, is how we accept the umpire's decision and quickly move on.
