GAME DAY – R14 Tiges v Blues

Highly unlikely the Dynasty can rekindle after this season , too many stars will retire or start to drop off , in saying that there was a few cubs last night who showed they have enough to be Premiership players , Baker and Bolton continue to show there going to be very good for a long time , Gibcus, MJ, Clarke and Hugo all continue to improve and look like they can be 100 gamers , the worry is that we don’t appear to have a Jack replacement and I don’t think there’s a lot to work with with the Cubs outside of last years draft through the midfield
We have Jacob Bauer 192cm 85Kg Riewoldt is 193cm 92Kg
Not much height difference Just hope Bauer can play

Carlton have unearthed footage of Broady just before that “not touched” kick:

Dropping Soldo turned out to be an easy decision, and the right one. Form, weather and the Carlton midfield was the deciding factor. The Carlton mids nearly got hold of us at times last night - could have been worse if we'd had the big giraffe plodding around and dropping marks in the wet.

Soldo will have a role to play later in the year when he's fitter, in form and the weather is dryer.

It worries me when we let ourselves be drawn into hating a player (no matter how annoying), because it seems acceptable to everyone else. It happened with Goodes, it’s happening with Ginnivan, too - a widespread acceptance that he’s someone we can all get stuck into.

We might only intend for it to impact his play. But these are young men, and as we know bullying can cause massive impacts on mental health.
Don't know about 'hating' a player, personally I don't focus on oppo players until they are playing us... then if they behave like a goose you rip into them. These are people who choose to play a high level, combative sport...in public... in front of feral tribal supporters, if you play tough and fair you get respect, if you do what Silvagni did in the melee where he tried on multiple occasions to escalate it with cheap shots, then he deserves to be ripped into by supporters.

Thought our discipline was right on last night, you could really tell the players were super mindful not to give any 50 metres penalties away and they didn’t. There didn’t seem to be any backchat either, I was at the game didn’t notice it.

Poor Blues supporter Marion has called in and sounds as if she's had a sleepless night... spoken to high level people at Carlton and tells us that Voss will be taking things further if Lynch is not rubbed out for his eye gouge on Saad.
She's threatened to continue to go on with it herself if nothing happens...

I'll keep everyone updated on Marions quest for justice... it'll no doubt be riveting stuff:rolleyes:

I dont think there is a more hateable supporter group in the AFL.

I had one bloke in front of me say that Cotchin is a soft footballer. I let it go the first time but after the second I had to step in and put this peanut in line.

That first female caller was the most laughable. Had 3 whinges especially on Grimo who, IMO, used the tactic to get a 50 when turning his back on the Blooze player. It's tactics moron!!

Your kidding me, she found fault with that?? Curnow was still asking the umpire who to give the ball to when it was only Grimes there. If thats not the most obvious timewasting tactic I don't know what is. Did she bring up that the 50 was short, it could only have been about 30m.

There was 1 behind me in Round 1 who was yelling out about Martin getting cheap ball. If theres one thing that can be said about Dusty is he doesn't go after the cheap ball.

Eye gouging :ROFLMAO: Who does she think Tom is that he would eye gouge, Chris Judd?

I watched it again just to see I hadn't missed anything. The ball was bobbling around and it was an accidental poke in the eye.

and if Saad didn't have a full handful of Lynchs jumper, then maybe his arm wouldn't have been flailing around there.

They are the most entitled supporter group, therefore the most deluded in their opinions.
They think they are entitled to a flag.
