GAME DAY – R14 Tiges v Blues

Was that our first game this year without a 50m against? Bit different to rd 1. And we had 1 30m for.
Bit easier to get the win without 8 X 50m penalties.

Side note: no game this season has been so red hot on 50s as the round 1 reaming we copped

He’s been doing that all year. I’m the same after a big run. Walk like I’ve gotten off a horse. He’ll be a week to week proposition.
Gotta say, just breaks my heart to see Lambo and his walk post a game.
I've got such respect for his guts, determination, humilty, work ethic.

I know he wants to play. But it just breaks my heart to see his hip challenges. He will retire this year a champion in my eyes. Epitomises the Richmond Man we have become these last few years. May we do everything possible as a club to help him with his physical wellbeing post footy.

A win is a win.
But gee we have concerns going forward.

Cotch is getting to the plodder pace now. Opposition players running off him at will
Prestia was enormous early, but I don’t see him too often near his man defensively. Maybe team instruction to be out?
Bolton runs one way in the midfield.
Jack Graham worked his arse off, 10 tackles. Disciplined game. Maybe our best at spotting up the lead up kick
Shorty got back a few times, but some of his disposals were shockers.
Marlion worked hard at times, but disposal efficiency started to lapse.
Edwards. Flat out running or bending over. Some good some meh.

Theres a power of work needed on our midfield. Gonna need some astute list management. Some big calls on club legends will need to be made. Cotch, Shedda, Lambo all struggling and Father Time won’t help them.

Right in it til the end with a depleted side that played like dirt most of the night. Haven't felt this comfortable as a Bluebagger for many a year, we'll be alright.

Welll considering the lack of foward pressure its possible
The short time MJ was on,I thought his pressure was outstanding and caused a few turnovers which help win the game. Don’t think we need Georgie at this stage.

Laughing at the morons who thought Broad wiggled his fingers in that non-goal. It was the arc going back and fro that shows his fingers moving you dumbf*cks.

Saw tonight what others had seen for some time…the hatred for Silvagni! Really wanted to see Nank break him in half.
