Game day Crows Vs Tigers

In the end that was Richmond FC since 2020 captured in one game. Some of the best Tiger footy you could see also some of the worst.
Our best is as good as anyone, we are just not capable of playing it consistently for a whole game

Fox Footy saying we subbed Dustin as a precaution because of a 6 day break.

So we subbed perhaps the best one on one player the game has ever seen, when we were 1 point ahead with 10 mins to go, after blowing a 40 point lead, staring at being 0-2 with the form team of the comp next week, just in case?

That's either incredibly brave coaching or *smile*.

its garbage.

we looked slow and martin wasn't chasing.

Fitness and speed are holding us back.
We need Tarrant and Cibcus back to sure up the backline and then we need Sonie or Clarke to become regulars.

Rubberband Tigers. It *smile* me to no end that we allow other teams to stay in games or worse
... Hand them the keys to the Kingswood.

We get a first half with Hopper and Taranto smashing the clearance numbers and we still gave up a 44 point lead.

Haven't seen the 2nd half yet. Obviously the first half was great. I guess one positive is we did regroup and run away with it in tbe end. Just reminiscing last year when we lost 4 games by less than a goal (and a draw) from rd 15 onwards.

Watched the game on replay instead of getting up early so had more time to watch the game. Plenty of excitement but some awful handling errors. We were lucky the Crows had a kicking off day and we had a good kicking day, we need to cut out those basic skill errors when there is plenty of time, and and learn not to switch off for a quarter and a half and some players need to show more desire. That said overall we deserved the win but need a lot of improvement if we are going to bury the Pies

Taking the points in SA was vital. They mentally switched off then on again, reckon they copped a huge spray at 3/4 time. Cant afford that next week or against better sides.

I reckon the MC know about Sonsie or Juddy, but will not bring either in till ready and when they are, they'll get their chance as Ryan did. The other two need to be right after injuries. Let's keep in mind we're in March; and will have these guys ready to go when they are ready.

We can see what Fly ad Leppa are doing at Scumwood, but so can most of the footy world atm. They've injected belief and a system back into that group and it shows. They've basically modelled a lot of their game on the way we played and have the fitness and youth to execute. Same with the Dogs and it got them to a GF. Taxing for sure, but flags arent won in March and its a loonnggg year.

The major diff b/w us and them last year was them winning the close ones and us dropping them.

Let's see where they're at after 2-3 months of footy and where we are.

Check out the wrap up of the game with Beveridge & Kano on the AFL site.
Nothing about our 3qtrs but how Adelaide kicked 16 behinds and that they shouldve been leading at 3qtr time.
But we are used to it.
Wrap up of games without comment about our win but how the opposition lost and last week it was all about Carlton how they couldn't hold on for the win.

I go out for 1/2 an hour to get my pizza only to come home and nearly choke on it when seeing the scores.

WTF happened was it another Richmond switch off FFS!!
Well you obviously switched off craigy babe, going out to get pizza halfway through a game. Players musta figured if no-one was bothering to watch they could switch off too.

Over what?
Mansell is a liability Not the answer in the forward line
Done what we needed him to as the sub, there's a bunch of highly paid superstars barely performed at spud level after half time yet they're always forgiven. Way to many keyboard experts all to happy to crucify players and cancel careers simply for not being elite champions. Nigel's one of a bunch of fringe players trying to build a career at the elite level and the constant blaming and deriding of these type of players is fairly pathetic.

One thing I will say, I was watching the timeline on the AFL website and it is an absolute joke. The time ticks on but it looks like there have been no scores. You refresh the page and, lo and behold, 5 goals have been kicked. Pathetic.
Got caught out by this crap just score checking the Carlscum v Moggies game on Thurs night. About on a par with everything else the AFLHQ does, sub standard garbage but they'll have an excuse for it being someone else's fault.

Always good to come away from Adelaide Oval with a win. Still brushing off the rust but showing signs of improvement.

I am concerned at a lack of pressure in the F50. Need a bit more pace there. Also thought that positioning of small forwards wasn't great. Need to be more front and center.

That said, big improvement still required when kicking into F50.

Big test next week. Filth will bring manic pressure. Not sure how we'll handle that.
