I’m gunna assume he’s an Adelaide reporter and therefore a Crows fan.

Hardwick built this Blitz style now every club is trying to implement.
But he has Gome away with it. We had 2543 small forwards that would feast on pressure and 99% of them are gone.
Mansell isn't Bulter.
I don't like Lynch Riewoldt Sampson. That's just asking for trouble.
If Cumberland can pull his finger out and start to learn to defend, he would be a better option
And Ricciuto was equally as bad. He is no commentator, rather a Crow's supporter. Have heard him give spirit defence of blatant acts by Crow players but he has Broad going straight to the tribunal! Broad will get two, any more and the Tigers should challenge it!
The two biggest concerns out of the game ...
1. The ease at which the ball rebounded out of our F50
2. The 3rd quarter obliteration of our clearances.
We killed them in the 1st half with clearances, then couldn't touch it in Q3. Got it back on track in 2nd half of Q4. Am worried about Taranto's field kicking was horrible in Q3. Hopper was pretty good all day.
I think the rebound out of F50 is compounded by those long dump kicks. Prefer we kick to leads or at worst a low piercing kick. The long bomb inside 50 has to be the lowest % play in football - I reckon 1 mark in 20 and 1 free in 10 (either way) is the usual result - should be banned!

Luckily we can rely on the AFL to block out the media and handle this with balance and fairness …………..

I think people are forgetting that Adelaide played what was sublime footy against GWS in the first half last week.Sure they got run down but it was no surprise to me that they could run us down in the second half of the game.They will trouble many sides IMO.
This is true. They also stopped about halfway through the last and had nothing left to give when we came at them.
In the third we again showed a bit of a weakness against fast rebound footy.
The Pies love to play this way. We're going to need to find a way to quell their slingshot game.

Taranto does everything else really well- defensively he’s fantastic and he’s getting high contested ball/clearance numbers, as well as very good GPS numbers (ran the most of any player on the ground yesterday). If he can tidy up his kicking, or even just kick within his limitations, he will be elite.
Was really surprised after 1/2 way through the last quarter.
Up by only 1 point and looked like dead men walking.

Ended up a good almost 6 goal win.

But obviously none of them have done enough to impress the match committee as to their worth as yet. Either that or Nigel's managed to get a share of those Dimma photo's that everyone's been raving about for a dozen years.

It’s pretty hard to know. For the pies. Did port turn up? Have Adelaide improved but got smacked by the heat in round 1.
Both Collingwood and Carlton thrashed geelong around the ground although not on the scoreboard. We dominated Carlton everywhere but the scoreboard.
Form lines are difficult early but we should go on with confidence.
