FYI 2019 Grand Final - RFC Priority Groups/AFL Grand Final Ticketing

Are the seats on level 1 M29 any good?

Have a go at this Tiger. .. once you figure out how to use it.... it's a bloody ripper!
I punched in your coordinates and took a screenshot of the view but unfortunately it's too large a file to upload.
Best hint I can give is to skip the tutorial if it pops up.
Go to the "enter section number" bar and put in M and then scroll down to Bay M29
It gives you the option of 5 or 6 rows so continue scrolling until get a row as close to yours or better still you may get your actual row if it's A or J or HH etc for example.

Good luck :)

7 news just said RFC advised that 20,500 RFC members registered for the ballot, meaning about 4,000 missing out.

Possibly good odds for those of us in the ballot who missed out and, even a chance for some leftovers for silver and bronze members.

What are your baby sitting rates? I'll send my two over to you in the last

I normally charge 65 bucks but for your kids I’ll make it 55 for your kids to help me stagger back to the London. :mhihi:ban

Mate non of it is self centered or a gripe at all. Its born out of Frustration.

I too have been paying the guarantee since the inception and have both times had top deck 10 rows from the back in Olympic Stand. This also applies to my mum who is in her 80's and partner just out of hospital.

We have reduced our family groups into 2 and 3's and not one of us (total of 6 groups) got anything on Levels 1, 2 or 3. All top decks

As I have previously posted its dumb stupid random luck, but certainly not fair given tomorrow Gold members unscuccessful in the ballot can swoop in and pick potentially the best seats in the house - yes pick. Again based on dumb luck because Collingwood lost.

GWS members onselling bacodes for the next 20 minutes to RFC members to grab prime seating before tomorrows leftovers makes me sick.

I've been paid up over 40+ years. Ive held RFC and AFL memberships all the way until financially I had to throw the AFL one out.

Not self centred, annoyed and frustrated.

Agree with you 100% MackTiger. The idiots at Ticketec should have waited until after the Coll v GWS game finished before allocating tickets to RFC Members. Did they just assume Collingwood would win??!!

They knocked Platinum down because of the new Executive Groups suddenly appearing with GF Guarantee and also moving 3121 and Premiership Circle to accomodate.
Mate, Richmond Executive has been going for years, they pay about 3 times what 3121 is & have never had a home bay so to speak, I am 3121 & was happy to let them have N14 & N15

GWS members GF ticketek window was supposed to be this afternoon from 3-5pm
Just checked theyve extended it to 8pm after closing it at 5pm giving GWS "members" 5 hrs to buy tickets

Club Members Reserve
GWS GIANTS Members onsale
Mon 23 Sep, 3pm - 8pm

That really sucks - making up the rules as they go - typical AFL

Why not reward long term afl club members playing the game than desperately getting new comers to attend.

Lets face it AFL wants to give GWS every opportunity to sell their tickets
I wonder if they were still selling 2019 memberships today?

Come on mate, UNSUCCESSFUL members in the BALLOT can swoop in and get the best seats in the house? What sort of seats do you really reckon are left, if you can in fact get them? And I don't consider the unsuccessful supporters in the ballot the lucky ones. You've got a ticket, stop complaining. Most of the good seats have gone to corporates.

Can anyone please answer a question about the allocation of tickets for tomorrow.
Do we need to use the same Ticketek account as what was used for the Ballot to access tickets at 11am? .... or is it purely based on if the barcode was placed in the ballot?
I am trying to buy tickets for 3 gold members who were unsuccessful, but someone else, who is unable to log in at 11am, placed these barcodes in the ballot.

Logic would say that the barcode would be adequate, but as the Ticketek customer ID was what was listed on the successful/unsuccessful ballot list, I have been second guessing it.
I hope that makes sense.
I have tried contacting Ticketek and the Club but have not been able to talk to anyone.

I’m fine as I was priority 2 and have seats, but have 3 gold members in the family that I’m trying to but for.

Thanks in advance.

I thought the secondary sale was just for Category 3 That missed out? I haven't seen anything that suggests it might go down to silver

Did I read somewhere that RFC and GWS both get 17,000 tickets allocated? What crock if true.

Don't know if this has been mentioned before but...

16.4% of RFC members get tickets, compared to 56.5% of GWS members??

How much fairer would this be:

RFC members 103,358
GWS member 30,109

Total 133,467

RFC share: 77.4%
GWS share: 22.6%

Therefore ticket allocation:

RFC: 26,316
GWS: 7,684

This way, the same %age of each club members get tickets, and the same %age miss out

Is my logic flawed?

Sorry there was a new membership type introduced. I'm not sure what the name of it was.

Absolute garbage the GWS members’ on sale kept going until 8pm....
AFL showing their contempt for traditional supporters yet again
