FYI 2019 Grand Final - RFC Priority Groups/AFL Grand Final Ticketing

Thanks Mack I’ve seen that one and if it is correct my seat doesn’t look as high as I thought. I’m dubious about the accuracy though.

Nah it's pretty good. I use it for all events at the G I go to, because they have like A, K, U, CC gives you plenty of views to count up etc.

Q55 for me, forward pocket, higher than Joe Cocker, but hey..........we made it.

The age now has a story about the GF tickets which includes the crucial line:

On Sunday afternoon, the AFL confirmed that any of the 17,000 tickets not taken up by GWS members would be offered to Richmond members.

Apparently there is precedence for this as Sydney didn’t see all its tickets for 2016 and they went to Dogs fans. Still a chance...

Make sure the credit card you used for your ballot is the same as the one you have set for your Ticketek account. For some stupid reason I changed cards yesterday morning and then wasn’t getting any notification during the ballot so I changed it back to my original card during the ballot and got a payment hit almost straight away. I’m hoping that’s not why I only got a Cat 5 ticket.
Oh no I switched my cc too. Hope this is not the reason no ticket it may be that I missed out in the ballot? (Gold member)

Rensman, I’m a priority 1 so was guaranteed a ticket but it took ages to get allocated. It was weird that it happened almost instantaneously after reverting my cc details back to the one used for the ballot.

My standing room tickets have reappeared - good. But they are still standing room.
How do you know you have standing room. What does is say in your tickettek history? I seem to have two standing room tickets in my order history but no money taken out of the account

Ticketek Email Confirmation received at 745pm (Vic Time) with Allocation details.

TICKET COLLECTION INFORMATION

Tickets will be available for collection from all Victorian and selected interstate Ticketek outlets from 9am AEST Tuesday September 24. Click here for a list of VIC Ticketek Agencies. Alternatively, the Ticketek box office at the MCG (Gate 3) will also be available on Grand Final day for ticket collections.

Please note that only the credit card holder that registered may collect the tickets and must present photo ID, the credit card used to purchase the tickets and the Ticketek Account Number. It is highly recommended that the credit card holder collects their tickets prior to Grand Final day. 2019 Toyota AFL Grand Final tickets will not be posted. It is your responsibility to ensure the tickets are collected as any uncollected tickets will not be refunded.

I just received an email from Ticketek confirming my tickets.

In order history there is an additional item to the ballot that says:

Tickets: 2 x C2CON1 x C2ADT
Section: M2STAND/ Row. GA
Seat/s.75-77

Shattered, looks like I missed then :(

Congrats to those who scored tickets, have a cracker and make the G a tiger cauldron!

Go tiges!

Well that’s an extra 15000 tickets for tiger supporters then!
