How many times must it be said that its not just Hutchy.

Wallace in his presser today didn't categorically rule it out, he avoided answering the question. No-one at the club has denied that Newman asked for Wallace to step down as they surely would have by now if it wasn't true.

Newman has denied it

Snatchy asked him in interview with CC outside Gary March's office if the players wanted Wallace out

Thats not denying he specific question. He said that at the press conference as well when they were obviously trying to cover up what exactly had happened.

You didn't see the gulp before he answered it?

My lord, if people seriously believe the club, they will believe anything.

When Wallace was asked directly if Newman asked him to leave, he could not answer it, said go and ask Newman.

Please.....

Don't recall saying anywhere what I believed or not, simply stating a fact which was the question was asked and the response was No.

FWIW
I look at my work place.
I am in charge of 12 staff totally.
If they knew i had lost the Ability to do my job and was a dead man walking, i belive they would lose faith in me too.

Tex has lost it hands down, no doubt about it.
If i lost the abilty too do what i am PAID too do well I WOULD JUST STEP ASIDE.
Pretty simple stuff in my eyes, BLACK OR WHITE.
F*smile*K off tex, you are cancer.

And as I responded no the question wasn't actually asked.

Well so much for our psychologist Mr Bond or what ever his name is. Clearly across all the issues in the playing group and good to see him taking affirmative action to remedy these problems.....

My biggest concern in all this is the continuing leaks the titanic has.

What has happened can be a good thing.

It will shake things up and get rid of the delusion the club has been living in. The on-going delusion of beleiving we are there abouts in terms of list structure and ability.

There'll be a big clean out of the football department and players and hopefully the cancer will be killed by the mass amputations.

Alot relies on Cameron in assessing which players stay and go.

I hope so but I'm not confident. How many times have we faced "the big clean out" just to find that not much has changed. Look at how excited we were 5 years ago when Wallace signed on. He was a hard nut coach with a big reputation, who if you believe the spin (and we did at the time) picked us over Hawthorn. He had the time frame and power given to him to clean out the club. He makes some hard decisions like the Gaspar and Kellaway ones, and that cancer you describe comes back. I'll believe that all of this will be ultimately good for the club when I see it.

Agree Harry. The club must take affirmative action all those involved.

I can't help wondering what part Delidio and Jackson played in all this as they were shown leaving March's office. I posted here after last weeks game that Lids didn't seem to happy with his lot the way he went about it last week. Now this....lets hope we don't end up losing guys like this over all this.

The younger guys deserve a second chance, but those senior members should be gone. Whilst I think there actions were very ordinary, I think the actions of those leaking inside information is the worst of all of this.

That person should be found, exposed and sacked......It would appear that whoever it is has not learn't from this and continues to leak. They obviously have no loyalty to the club, the jump or understanding of tradition.

Apparently Richo's on the footy show as panel member alongside Nick Riewoldt.
He's certainly doing the rounds the old "Cho". He was recently on ONE HD with Walls and was also on Before the game a few weeks back and last sunday was on Game Day.
Certainly getting out and about the big fella.
Hopefully he snots Newman if he hangs *smile* on Richo's club (he normally does).
Richo has shown to be a good tv performer. Can see career looming when he gives the footy away.
Anyway just a reminder he will be on FS tonight.
