It is obviously (The meeting) true otherwise there would be denials.There have been numerous opportunities for the club & or players to deny the story & it hasn't happened.

Was one of his mates a couple of years ago before he moved. A terrible terrible story from a promising kid with in respect, a struggling family, who loved him.

Loved his footy, loved his mates, and loved his family.

To nail Hutchy, all he had to so was state what "happened" then if Hutchy disagreed say "Craig are you calling me a liar YES or NO".

Richo would have been better saying nothing,in fact he probably would have been better not coming on tonight.

the meeting is not being denied. we have heard only one perspective of what happened in that meeting though.

by not commenting, the club may be trying to contain what was actually discussed. if they deny, they will have to back up by saying what was said, and that gets a lot more detailed and prolongs the issue.

personally i'd love to shut them up by stating the alternate view, but I get why they may be doing the "no comment" line

The "no comment' line basically confirms the meeting & content otherwise there would be a strong denial.

richo defends simmonds and sugar and says its absolute rubbish etc that they were part of the so called player revolt etc, fat hutchy comes on and i was waiting for richo to say something like why are you spreading crap about our club an players.

nick riewdolt was so right, in a court of law what hutchy reported and admitted to reporting was "hear say" and wouldnt stand up by itself yet he is saying "fact, wallace was asked to step down" it may be so but for gods sake dont say its fact with no hard evidence, i was interesed in being a sport journo, now if i do go into jornalsm ill be a music one for sure, sta away from lieing scum like that!!!

Why? Doesn't deserve any comment. They got most of the "facts" wrong but you still believe the allegations of Hutchy & co.

Suppose you watch "A Torrent of Fear" and "Dismay & Fright" with the same fervour.

Listening to Brownless on SEN this morning and he mentioned that there was no meeting between Richo and Hutchy after the show - Richo actually left early and didnt hang around and didnt have a word to Hutchy as Richo mentioned he wanted to do earlier on the show...

thats not the meeting that people care about - it was the one the night before where Newman with King is supposed to have demanded Wallace resign after being encouraged by Simmonds and Johnson.
 
From what I have heard the club has told all officials including players not to comment further on what Hutchy reported last week. No need to add fuel to the fire.
