Yes they will if the new Coach come in and projects the optimism that I expect he will. There are still another 14 games to go this year and who knows what may transpire from here

good luck getting members next year

Strong Richmond people will stick around.

We don't need bandwagoner's like the types I have seen this season.

Round one the joint was a buzz, people everywhere, regular clients and people in my industry I had no idea even followed Richmond announced themselves to the world as Tiger fans and members.

I was amazed.

Then as the losses appeared, they disappeared back into their cracks not to be heard.

We don't need these types. The loyal, passionate and real Richmond people will stick.

What is your source?

Cause at the moment all I got is Hutchinson's word, which is less reliable than a chux wipe for birth control.

:hihi

Believe me, don't believe me, the truth always comes out.

Won't reveal my source, but trust them as they have NEVER let me down.

Some on this website will tell you I told them this info on Tuesday night. ;)

It's not just about getting a new coach.

Talk about an over-reaction, this sort of thing happens at a lot more places than just the RFC. It was only a few years back that Carlton players white anted Pagan and Barry Mitchell had an office on the other side of the oval. The players only fault was that they tried to play politics with the PM of footy politics in Wallace

As far as Snatchy goes I heard nothing new. He tried to justify his wrong call on Tuesday and stole Caro's material in an attempt to do it.

No doubt that the players involved will be hurting short term but in the long term and under a new coach be that mid year or end year more determined than ever to redeem themselves.

The only thing I am concerned about is who leaked the story that Snatchy stole to Caro!

I knew the same stuff Bobby did, and it came from a completely different source. (Thanks to the source, I know you're here reading). Cross checked it with everything we'd heard through yet a different person, and all the details were the same.

Look at what louie the fly posted on this site before hutchy went on. Look at the hints people had been dropping throughout the week, and you'll see there's consistency in what hutchy has said tonight, and Wilson said earlier today.

It's time to take the blinkers and rose coloured glasses of folks.

We ARE a joke, now it's time to take a stand and make sure we no longer remain that way.

Exactly right. That's the main culprit and I still wonder why Jake King was mentioned since he's not in the leadership group and has no say in this.

I totally disagree with this. What are the players meant to do- just go along with it for the rest of the year?? Something had to be done- maybe Newy should have approached Cameron but geez, would you continue in a job for another 3-4 months putting up with things you do not agree with. I wouldn't.

At least they may change that bloody awful game plan, maybe we may see a more committed group with a game plan they can accept.

Whatever, something had to give as we are 1-7 and in my opinion, we are nowhere near that bad.

Yes Newman should do something...but not go and ask for his boss' resignation especially with some bit part coburg player in tow. Tail wagging the dog stuff...It is unbelievable that Newman would be so stupid. Too gutless to stand up to Johnson and Simmonds IF you believe hutchinson.

Freezer said:
Sounds like he was just re-hashing what Caro wrote yesterday.

True.

Probably largely true but Hutchy couldn't (or wouldn't) advise how he knew Newman asked Wallace to re-sign. IF he did know, it could only come from Wallace who looked far from interested in talking.

Agree Morton spoke well and seemed to have the most realistic position on the post game shenanigans.

If this is true, and lets face it there's still alot of speculaton here, I am flabbergasted what makes Jake King think he has the kudos to be the one to attend with Newman and demand Wallace's resignation. The whole saga borders on ridiculous anyway but King involved...lol...gimme a break.

What makes any of them think they have the kudos to do something like this?? They are the greatest bunch of softo, peahearted pretenders and underachievers that have ever pulled boots on. They have achieved SWEET FA as players at the RFC. They all take home massive pay cheques, compared to the average person, and give *smile* all in return.

No doubt Wallace has performed extremely poorly in his 5 years as coach. He has to go and will at some stage this year. But that will be taken care of through the proper process. He has performed no more poorly than most of the players on the list. Where do they get the hide to try and pull this sort of *smile*. They should pull their *smile* pathetic heads in and concentrate on winning a game of footy every once in a while; god forbid maybe getting into the finals.

Just *smile* unbelievable.

Wow what can be said about this club, it just takes you to new lows and depths of despair/frustration/humiliation. I think it's obvious that as much as I hate and despise that swine, bald @r$e Hutchy he would not be making wild and unfounded accusations as what he made tonight. If RFC or Chris Newman come out tomorrow stating they will be taking legal action against Ch 9 and Hutchy then alls fine but theres buckley's chance of that happening.

It will take years to get over this, March has tried to stop the leaks and regain some sort of credibility but when he has moron players asking for the coach to resign theres absolutely nothing he can do about that aside from keeping them on a lead and tucking them in @ night.

Newman may have been naive but HELL would you ever consider going to your boss and asking him to resign if members of your working team arent happy with them? NOT ON YOUR LIFE. I was a big wrap for Newwy on this forum but he has no choice but to stand down and hand the captaincy to Bowden (there's no one else who can lead this rabble) I feel terrible let down by Newman.
As for King, he's just a twit and a sheep following an ill informed 'leader', in fact King being there is absolutely irrelevent.

I've no respect for Wallace either, he has come out smelling like roses and he knows this. I can't wait to read his tell all column/s next year about the perils and pitfalls of coaching the RFC.

Barring a miracle, Essendon will be licking their lips now, they couldn't have 4 points come easier to them than if it was given to them on a platter and they're going to rub salt into our gaping bleeding wounds and trounce us. I'm absolutely *smile* gutted I wanna spew

WHERE TO FROM HERE!? WHERE THE HELL DO WE GO?

Like everyone else, I too am gutted. The heady days of Dundas, Rombotis, Jughead, Proctor and co. and exciting 9th place finishes are well behind us.

2010 coach applications have just made a volatile drop. Let's get one of them you mentioned.

I very much doubt it would be a player. They can't stand the media generally and Kingy would be the last person to talk to the media.

It is either someone very senior or someone from outside the club that was told by one of the players or staff. I suspect it was someone one of the coaching staff know, just as I suspected when Tony Free's harsh apprasial of the coaching staff was leaked

But thats the point right there, he SHOULD HAVE gone to March not Wallace, he should have said to March this is where the players are: We're sick of the changing gameplan week to week, we're sick of players getting games when they dont deserve it. We all need to have a meeting and discuss this situation and make sure we're all on the same page. It's common sense! simple common sense.

Someone very close to Wallace - try Phil Maylin :police:

Believe it, cause he is right.

A joke of a club at the moment to be honest.

An absolute joke. When I heard the events of the Monday and Tuesday on Tuesday / Tuesday evening I was shattered. I sat there contemplating how this possibly happens at a professional organisation. I shake my head and contemplate how do we turn this around, what needs to happen, what is happening.

Make no mistake, the problems that the club face are the biggest in its disgraceful recent history.

Clean the joint out. Anything remotely looking like a disease needs to be removed.

A lot of pain needs to happen before the club can even be put back on it's feet.

Drastic change and stronger people in the organisation will change the culture.

This has gone on long enough.

Does this mean we should also get rid of your source? or the person(s) who provide your source with the information?

Loose lips sink ships.

He's in the 'young' leadership group and was representing them. Pitiful joke

Wallace does come out smelling like roses. And fair enough to.

As for the players if they come out and win this week well they would lose even more respect in my eyes. What are the going to say after they win.

Newmans post match interview could go something like this.

"We rallied because we had the belief that we have every right to sack our coach. We showed everyone that we are made of the right stuff and are on the right track. Maybe next time people will stick fat with us when we choose to sack the coach"
