Finals Week 1: The acid reflux games.

This is what envy does to me. *smile* this top eight.....watch the best. We need to get this composure back again....desperately!!

We looked totally different two weeks later. Hoping same happens to Flogpies this year.

Looking back at that Daniel looked great up forward. Should the new coach push him back forward?

An entire day of peanuts trying to predict what the MRO and tribunal are going to do.

May as well predict the tattslotto numbers while they are at it.

Agree about Dan. Higgo looked smarter, stronger and better with us compared to now. Castagna was good too and we miss Shedda badly. Just hope we can get back to this type of form again under a new coach.

Comparing what Maynard did to what Mansell did: if Mansell gets 3 weeks, then Maynard should get the same.

If, as is very likely with the AFL, he gets no weeks, then we know that all the stuff about protecting players from concussion is just for show. They penalise the players who are not high profile, and not those who are. They basically make it up as they go.

This will bite the AFL eventually as any defence they mount against being sued by players who have issues as a result of concussions in football, will be pulled apart on the basis of massive inconsistency/incompetence.

It is a vexed issue as this is a collision sport. Either the sport changes or we, including the players, accept that football actions will lead to concussions and the long term effects. I'm not sure the latter is feasible, you can't accept that people's lives will be destroyed as a result of their employment.

But what we are seeing here is the AFL in full incompetence mode, if they were a competent organisation then everyone would be able to predict the outcome here, they're not and we're all guessing. Plus, the media, who have their favourites have way too much influence on what will happen.

Just in case we’ve forgotten, this football act cost a player 3 weeks:

If the MRO is consistent :ROFLMAO: Maynard should get the same. But he won’t. And what happened with all the hoo har about when a player “jumps off and both feet are off the ground“ as a contributing factor? Gone?

I'm officially checked out after the Skunks walked into the Prelim.

FFS.

Now they've got a Golden run most likely playing the loser of Bris v Port at the G in a Prelim and most likely if not nigh on certainly the winner of Brisbane and Port in the GF.

Well done Melbourne you useless wankers.

Daniel created so many opportunities. Forward genius. Made those around him better.

We should all feel robbed.

But hey, we've got a good half back flanker...

Mansell got the Richmond tax and Aish's campaigner head band came off which added dramatic effect and another week

Gee that was a beautiful kick in any game. But being the gf and the stage of where the game was, just beautifully executed.
To seal the premiership against the wobbles was even mor beautifuller.
