The AFL is preparing to reschedule all matches beyond round one, as it knows it will almost certainly have to indefinitely shut down its competition to deal with the Coronavirus outbreak.

Fans who have purchased tickets for Round 1 of the 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership season via Ticketmaster and Ticketek will receive a refund, while club, AFL and venue members will be communicated to in coming days

Good to hear. Best do it against the Chokers the week after, even though we're away. Otherwise we have to wait until R4 - April 11 against the Cows.

Playing afl games in front of no spectators gives an unfair advantage to the giants, suns and Kangaroos. They are used to it
Don't forget Port's era of covering the empty stands with advertising tarps.
A sensible decision from the club to wait until the Tiger Army is present for the flag unfurling
In our opening match they should place witches' hats on 90,000 seats. Together with the Carlton players, that adds up to 90,022 witches' hats.
It's all gone to *smile* since Brad Scott got his fancy AFL-title-that-no-one-can-remember.
