They are healthy and in the premiership window age band and have 4th worst percentage. Not sure they have had too many injuries either.
Feels like at least another 5 years without a finals win. So good.
Draw is still relatively favourable for them but could they beat anyone? Still guess I should wait to see how it plays out.

It seems like as soon as they trotted out the Essendon Edge the wheels started to fall off, and there were no wheels left on for the game this arvo.
They are in a mess. Their best players are Merrett (28, turns 29 in October), Stringer (30), Langford (nearly 28), Wright (nearly 28), Laverde (28), Parish (27). They have to play a 36 year old Goldie because that dud Draper can't compete properly. If he had a normal haircut and didn't have a goofy goal celebration, no-one would even know his name.
They have some decent younger players, but none are superstars. Reckon they are using Perkins really poorly too.
I'd prefer to have our list over theirs.

They validate how utterly incompetent and biased the fraudulent AFL media are who, every single year, pump this group of super duds up.
Ohh great recruiting, ohhhh great coaching, ohhh Dildoro, ohhhh they are the real deal this year. One dud after another gets pumped up beyond belief every year.
They get the easiest run in the media of any club in the AFL.
If we or Cwood or someone else performed like this for so long, we'd get smashed - like we did before 2017. Not Arsendon. Media always pumps them up, excuses and other bs galore.

Durham & Caldwell were the best midfielders since Judd & Cousins.
