#Lolnorf still hunting for a big name signing???? Surely they could use another premium hybrid mid forward to help out Larkey at times.Looks like The Package is getting regifted:
STRINGER’S DON AND DUSTED
Andrew McMurtry - News.com.au
Essendon star Jake Stringer is reportedly telling those close to him that he’s played his last game for the club as the ugly contract standoff appears to be heading for a messy end.
The 30-year-old has triggered a clause for a $400,000 deal for 2025 but Essendon has been reluctant to extend Stringer beyond that or upgrade his deal.
The star forward played every game for Essendon this season, kicking 42 goals to finish equal 12th on the Coleman Medal leaderboard.
Stringer is testing the market to chase a more lucrative two-year deal, with AFL Media reporting that Collingwood is in the box seat for his signature.
Stringer’s management had reportedly been in contact with Sydney and Geelong but negotiations had broken down.
Are you thinking what Im thinking?Looks like The Package is getting regifted:

That wasnt what i was thinking, but it is an excellent idea.Yes! Assuming you too are thinking of getting a banh mi for lunch?
Simple. It's still weeks away from trade n draft time, gotta keep all possible options open at the moment. Also why not both together on the cheap? Still gives Larkey some forward support over the next few years n gives the rest of their mids some target options.North are front runners for 32 year old Jack Darling, (why would you even go there )
It’s fairly mind boggling. Has disaster written all over it. Maybe we could sway North with Lynch and it’s only going to cost them double the wages of Jackie D! And only for the cost of their no.2 pick!North are front runners for 32 year old Jack Darling, (why would you even go there )
What has Tom Lynch ever done to you? It’s fairly mind boggling. Has disaster written all over it. Maybe we could sway North with Lynch and it’s only going to cost them double the wages of Jackie D! And only for the cost of their no.2 pick!
Really?? Then…..that means…….HIRDY AND DODORO AND SHEEDY ARE COMING BACK!! All is good with the world going forward!!!Barrett doing a bit of white anting of Essendon. I’ll allow it:
IF ...
the noise was low decibel level a fortnight ago ...
THEN ...
it's nearing medium level now. Talk of a board room challenge against David Barham getting louder by the week.
Perfect timing. We definitely need a Dusty replacement to soothe the withdrawal angst happening at the moment. If we can't get KMart Dusty we might as well get NQR Dusty, just until we get over the Shakes n DT's of course.Looks like The Package is getting regifted:
