Dylan Grimes JDM

Heart was in the mouth when he was paddling the ball and Simpson pushed him in the back. That was twang material.

Same here spook. Looked like he stubbed his foot during that chase and I thought....*smile*....

Was he even on the ground in the 2nd half? Didn't see him at all. Was worried he may have injured himself again but the sub would have been activated. Just didn't get near it?

Grimey was probably brought back too early due to Rance's injury. He was ok. Not the worst.

But it was a good news game for Tiger fans.

Early in the match Grimes let down with a sprint. He gave a quick opponent a metre start over five and beat him by a metre. That wouldn't have happened last year.

Grimes has his pace back.

I was praying for them too when he made one long fast dash towards the members boundary there at one time. He really went for it at full pelt and did what he had to do i.e. force it over the boundary.
But I was watching afterwards to see how he pulled up. I thought if ever they were going to go - that was the time.

Just an ok game for mine

That dropped mark was a shocker, direct turnover and goal. Otherwise I thought he played a reasonable game. Needs the continuity

Hasn't come in as expected. Just a slightly better Will Thursfield.

I had huge hopes. Le Sigh.

When Rance is back Grimey goes. It's about form. His pace is ok again. Did a few good things but not match right.

Thought his game tonight was encouraging. Yes made mistakes but was not afraid to attack the ball with venom.

Agree. Was nowhere near our worst.........but as soon as he dropped that mark I knew that was all anyone would remember.

Sure enough, he's copping a bagging on some other threads.

Yeah was a bad mistake but the kick to him also contributed. Was a floater above his head kicked from barely 25 metres away. Thought he had a solid yet unmemorable game.

Very overrated footballer. Panic merchant. Fumbler. Good at spoiling but can't trust him with the ball.

There was a Sydney game at the G a couple of yrs ago where his composure was reminiscent of Bruce Doull. Still there IMO.
