Dylan Grimes JDM

Were you expecting Xrays? They have made an announcement about it, with an estimated recovery time.

What announcement? Rance let it slip when talking with tony jones

Another hamstring set back no matter how slight does not bode well for the poor guy. I am a bit pessimistic on his long levity in AFL. Still is does mean the likes of Astbury will have a chance to prove he is consistently good enough for AFL

Great to see Dylan back for tomorrow night's game.

Hopefully, he contributes to a great win against the enemy and gets a good run for the rest of the year.

Way too soon of a comeback. Reeks of desperation.

If they play 3 talls or tallishes up forward, we didnt really have a third option if Grimes didnt play. Would have had to throw Petterd back.
I havent looked at carltons team so dont know if they can play 3 talls forward.
If they dont have the talls then would have preferred A Edwards as a hit up

They'll have Waite, Henderson and either Kreuzer or Rowe rotating through the forward line, so I'm happy with the insurance of Dylan to provide some support down back.

The only alternative was Batchelor, although I guess Griffiths could go back if necessary.

As his president, I'll vote for Grimes any day.

De ja Vue....good luck Dylan.....geez I really hope this bloke gets a fair crack at it, quality kid an could be a bloody good footballer with some good luck with injury

desperately need a fit Grimes. Hope he can remain fit for the entire year but somehow doubt it.

he was always very good at the burgers mud heap

huge fan of grimes and a more than adequate replacement for rance - although rance is taller and stronger than grimes, I would prefer grimes under a high ball any day

welcome back Dylan - good luck with the hammy's

i'd give him my hamstrings: they are strong as hell but he can his flexibility goodbye for ever if he accepted them

Hopefully the artful dodger doesnt need 'em DDT, but its a lovely offer. Im a bit like you, ive got hammies like crow bars. Never even tweeked one, but not renown for my fluidity of movement.

Look forward to seeing him do well tonight.
I think we all are, cept for Dud who is wishing for him to do a hammy.

Also like how they have desperately thrown Grimes back into a MUST WIN game in which the pressure will be high so he can re-injure his hammy and be gone for the season.

.............

DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU!!!!!
he sounds like he is watering at the mouth over the idea. Dud really cracks me up. Silly girl/boy.
