Best news is we're no longer talking about his hamstring.

Spot on Toohey, If form is all we're talking about with Grimesy he's tracking along ok.

It'll take awhile for him to get back to full confidence in his body, then we'll see him at his best.

Does not play key back and never will.
You have just posted on 10 different threads and thought what you wrote in them was BS.

That's until I read this. You have now taken the *smile* to another level.

Does he take the best forward no.
Not saying that he is not a good player but he is the 3rd tall the zone of player but he is not the keyback. That is FB or CHB.

is it just me, or has anyone else been a little disappointed with Grimes so far this year, perhaps just the last couple of weeks. (by disappointed i am judging him against the standards (AA standards) he has set previous years, and ignoring the fact he is a 20game KPD)
i dont think his disposal has been as sure as last year, nor has his defending been as excellent.

curious as to how others have seen him, and i did notice he got votes on Friday from some, and against the pies too.

again, im not saying he has been poor or anything, i just dont think he has hit the heights he has shown he is capable of.

He's not breaking any lines, he rarely zones and he's just no that busy. Looks a different player.

Not to say he won't be back. I think he will. But we are seeing just how big an impact that injury has had on him.

I think that, like quite a few of our players who are coming off very limited pre-seasons, Grimey gives us reason to be optimistic about the second half of 2013.

Of all the Richmond players I've banked over the last twenty years Dylan Grimes is by far the best defender.

For comparisons you have to go to other clubs. Corey Enright and Matthew Scarlett have been recent champions. Grimes is a newb. With no record. And the injury gods have been cruel. If they give our man a chance he can be somebody.

Premiership sides have champions outside their top four players.

Chaplin should be an accessory. A fit Grimes is paramount in our backline and crucial to our future. We just want him to keep getting on the lawn.

not good. Looks as though our so called depth is going to be tested over the next few weeks. Make or break fortnhight coming up.

Once again this is terrible news for Dylan Grimes. Grimes starts playing a couple of games in a row then he receives a injury, that sets him back for a long amount of time. All of the injures Grimes has suffered, can not be good for his confidence. I hope Grimes can get back to playing some good footy, later on in the season.

At least he did not do it against Essendum again. That would hv cemented the curse. Good luck to the kid. Hope he recovers soon as the back line is not the same without him.
