On the clubs injury list he's listed as out for the season

Player Injury Expected return date
Ivan Maric Ankle Available
Chris Newman Groin Test
Reece Conca Foot 1-3 weeks
Brett O'Hanlon Ankle 1-3 weeks
Ricky Petterd Calf 2-3 weeks
Shane Tuck Shoulder 6-8 weeks
Dylan Grimes Foot Season
Chris Knights Knee Season

Article says 6-8 :-\

I reckon Conca will be out longer as well.

Wish the club would just be upfront from the beginning. Weren't we told it was originally a toe? Now it's a foot. Then it's a season?
agree. It was said that he had a sore toe which had altered his mechanics and without a pre season they wanted to get that right. This injury has progressed (in a bad way) a long way in a very short time. Either it was badly diagnosed or they were telling porkies from the beginning.

That injury timeframe also blew out. The sceptic in me remembers the old days when we didn't announce how bad injuries really were whilst memberships were selling.
The Cats article I posted a few weeks back indicated that these hotspot injuries took a long time to heal.

Maybe it's just not that obvious how long a player will be out for. Injuries like toes and feet can be hard to properly diagnose and I personally am not surprised that they judge incorrectly.

you can add Petterd to the list. he was listed as 2 weeks, now it's more like 4-5 at least.

An article on the app says he's back for the north game

This is so frustrating for everyone but have faith people.

It took a while to get Cotchy right, and now look at him.

Lets give the club and Dylan the benefit of the doubt, and as they say be conservative with him.

Our list is getting better and better all the time, albeit slowly, but I don't think many of us could dispute this.

Dylan is a beauty we all know that and he is only 21.

Well if there was ever a time to give Astbury a gig it's now. He's got height and skill and while he might not be a Dillon Grimes I think he's got a fair bit to offer.

Do we need to start talking about making a play for James Frawley yet?

Big rumours Silivia is heading to the westpac centre, I'm with you, we need to throw everything at Frawley to come over.
Trade, $$$, whatever it takes. Our back line is still a huge worry against good sides.

They might even take Rance off our hands.

Conca is fine. He would play tomorrow if it was a final. They are being ultra cautious.

I hope your right lambo. The artful dodger is a worry. would love jimmy frawley, nephew of spud, at the right price. Keep in mind we love him cause he flogs JR everytime.

Maybe a 3 way trade - Rance and Tigs 2nd rounder to WCE, Schofield and WCE 1st to Dees, Frawley to Richmond 8-

Not bad. The only thing that will screw us is when they get a real coach in there and he will convince him to stay

Grimes will be ok - just needs time. At 21 he has it. Would take/trade for Frawley in a heartbeat. Very good player that would improve massively in a good team. If that means trading Rance, then so be it.

GC are going after Frawley, it's not even half way through the season and the names are coming out!
