Dylan Grimes JDM

I have been a fan for many years - just a shame he has been injured a bit as I think he would go down as one of the best defenders going around. Last night he was sensational - just doesn't get the accolades that some do. Love Grimes :hearton

x2

Rated him so highly that several years ago I decided to go with number two on the back of my jumper. Have always liked what Dylan brings to the table. Am just so pleased he's being able to get a decent run at it now. Terrific guy too.

Taking out Hartlett turned the game.

Heh heh that was an inadvertantly nasty tackle. He killed Hartlett with a knee to the quad.

Grimey is all subtle elbows and knees. He legally maims people.

Grimes Rance and Astbury are the best defensive combination in the league and one of the main reasons we are top 4. These 3 are completely in sync and it's very difficult for any opposition to find gaps and penetrate them. They completely own the air in our defensive 50.

Agree. He's like a bag full of spanners that has a majestic way of awkwardly positioning his appendages to inflict maximum carnage.

He tackles to hurt when he can alright. Goes hard, bony and tough, crazy eyes, hell of a player.

He's not glamorous but Grimes is my favourite current player in the team. For me he typifies everything I want Richmond to be.
Such an honest player who gives absolutely everything, every minute of every week.
All you can ask really.

Oh & he bathed Robbie Gray & Robbie Gray is a absolute gun so what does that make Grimey Grub?
Deserves success, I hope he sees it.

He's such a great matchup for Gray.

Have no doubt he'll render him useless 10 times out of 10.

He has that glare of concentration and determination that reminds me so much of our famous number 30.
St Dylan anyone?

I think most supporters in the AFL wouldn't have a clue who Grimes is. Seriously under rated outside of Tigerland. The media are starting to blow Astbury's trumpet but Grimes still well under the radar. One of my favourite Tigers, always gives 100% and is becoming more damaging offensively too.

Also, seeing Hartlett get crunched like that was awesome.
