Dylan Grimes JDM

brilliant player..one of our most important players...kept us in the game for the first three quarters...

My favourite. Skinny but tough as nails. If he was 6.5ft and 100kgs. There would be body bags all over the ground.
He goes 100 miles a hour head first into contests.

Career best post, ziffens.

Watvh the replay. there's a play in the centre, I think it was early in the last quarter where he lays 5 super hard tackles in a row. Absolutely sensational, and all the commentators can say is how tough Melbourne are going in.

x 2
TV "experts" have NFI.

He's not far from Rance. different job, different skill set, but his influence is immense.

a wiry, awkward enforcer. tall and small. just a great backman.

There was a point in the game where Grimes laid 3 x ferocious tackles in 10 seconds of frenetic play at our half forward line.

Amazing and inspirational stuff.

You'd almost think they wrote the Tigerland theme in honour of the Grub.

Risking head and shin.
Strong and bold.
Fight and fight and win.

The Grimey Grub will never die wondering out on the field. Plays every game, hits every contest like there won't be another one. Massive fan of the way he plays.

i did notice that. they talked about how hard the dees were going in, yet we won the ball.

I think he goes to Eddie.

He'll land on him, fence him, twist stops into the bit where arse becomes back, accidentally elbow him in the Adam's apple.

These seemingly insignificant acts erode a blokes speed and spring.

The Artful Dodger is as good an exponent of these out of fashion backmen 1%'ers as any ive seen.

and I reckon hes THE nicest bloke on our list.
