The positive is that he pulled out before playing and therefore before doing his hammy properly.

He is super important. Another poositive is the bye coming up and maybe he'll only miss one.

Stronger velcrose required on those bandages.

. Was it confirmed hammy? In last weeks broadcast someone confirmed that his last period on the side line was knee and not hammy related.

You really notice how good he is when the replacements are Astbury and Chaplin. Shame he's made of paper mache.

Surely they/ he takes the oppurtunity to rest up next week and come back after the bye, nobody in the twos is anywhere near as good or in good enough form to demand a spot, however someone like Broad has been going ok so not the worst time to blood him

As long as we are on this "Finals" push, I can see us playing him.

Your point is perfectly logical. Playing a shambles of a side, surely you give him the extra week to give him the extra week.

Perfect opportunity for Broad.

Really difficult to build and develop a stable back unit when one of the key players in that unit is rather injury prone.
As time marches forward it is only going to get harder for Grimes to remain fit and free of hamstrings trouble.

Hoping the late withdrawal was only precautionary. If not I agree give Broad a go. Would play him at Batch's expense anyway. He is too slow for the modern game especially if Astbury and or Chaplin play

Will always have suspect hammy's so we should accept that he will never reach the heights he should because his legs will always cruel him. That said I like to watch him and see his intensity and general reliability around the ground. We shouldn't rush him back until after the bye and hope he stays together for a good run of matches.

Seemed to play a slightly different role today. Had 13 contested possessions. Has only had double figures once before and in 2014 when he played 19 games the most he had was 5. I liked what I saw today, hope he can play that contested role a lot more in the future.

Yeah... always seemed able to make space in close and get the ball out to advantage. Nice one Grimesy
