Dustin Martin

Pretty sure we haven't won to many games this year with the Dusty one in the side. So wonder how the *smile* we're all of a sudden going to flog a pissed off n embarrassed mob of Crowbaits on their home deck next week, especially after we've lost another cuppla more players.
*smile* journos just sniffin for clicks n controversy to try to appear important n relevant to something. Club will look after it's fans and Dusty by putting his 300 on at the G where we can all celebrate his career properly.

Whats the feeling?

Does dusty avoid the hoo har and play 300th in adelaide?

Or soak up all our love on The G?

I really hope its the latter

The eyes of the shark is such a good call. I remember - because it stood out so much - the pure joy and elation on Dusty's face after he kicked the last goal of the 2017 grand final. He hugged a couple of blokes and spun in the embrace. He looked like a kid. For two seconds. Then he turned away from camera and when he turned back: shark eyes. It was striking.

Here:
bring tears to the eyes and how about the crowd roar in anticipation each time he went near it

All gives a *smile* what Morris says publicly- his whatsapps are always more interesting.

But regardless, we can play a 32yo, who has been hobbling a bit until the last week or 2, interstate on 5 days rest in a game we arent going to win, or we can let him stay home. the way our season is looking i know what is the sensible choice.

Id be resting Vlastuin and Nank too, if we could still put out a team.

I want a high hook over his left shoulder for a goal then a stirring run to his teammates while the puntroadend literally explodes in pure rapture. It could be the highlight of our very sad season.
Must happen at the MCG and everyone knows that.
I don’t care all that much about winning the game.
One more for the ages.

the standing ovation for Shedda at dreamtime was spine tingling.

I can't imagine the emotions when Dusty puts on his 300th show.

I wonder if the MCG engineers took into account that amount of love?

With the Dorks in good form, it could be a big crowd at the G next week to see the GOAT's 300th.

Hey Tom you dipshit. How about doing your job properly instead of trying to get cornesflake-like attention. What about looking at it this way. Richmond are managing a 32year old veteran after the afl have scheduled a 5 day break ,and an interstate trip, between Richmond games and with their long injury list, don’t want to risk another injury especially to one of their most valuable players, thus possibly giving invaluable experience to one of the young inexperienced players on the list

I don't think it'll be long before we are accused of tanking, and if it does it will only build as the season wears on.

Doesn't bother me, just about every other club has tanked at some point, apart from us.

We have even utilised an anti-tank measure, an anti-tank missile in the form of Jordan McMahon's boot which dropped us from a certain pick 1 to pick 3 and look what happened, that anti-tank missile destroyed Melbourne in the short to mid term in the form of Scully and Trengove whilst we bathed in multiple premierships down the track.

I think we will rest him but Yze's words in his presser were that "he will put his hand up to play".

In the end Dusty is a footballer and he will want to play imo but I suspect the club won't give him the choice. They should ask Jack on Fox Footy when he has been asked to make himself available for a photo shoot at the MCG :ROFLMAO: . What a shot that will be KB, St Francis, Jack, Cotch, Shedda and Dusty standing next to the statue of Captain Blood.

22 flags and about 2000 games between the 6 of them still living.

Chris Scott has been doing it this year and also did it in their Premiership Year. Many other clubs have been doing the same recently.
The Tiger fans are the most important and none of us want Dusty's 300th played in the city of Churches.
Bottom line comes 2nd, (this year in particular), AFL took great pleasure in, and maybe rightfully so, in delivering us a fixture that stinks commercially, there is no doubt that playing Dusty's 300th at the G' could add $500k to our bottom line?
What Tom Morris wants is irrelevant and a long way last.

Totally agree.

And how is the arrogance of Morris thinking he knows better than the RFC and Dustin.

I'd be surprised if Morris has played a game of senior footy at any level, let alone have any idea of what it takes to play AFL.
