Make sure it includes a healthy dose of vision against Geelong in finals matches. Just to rub it in.
particularly where dangerfield is involved. 1. the Prem final, where Dusty gets the ball between 3 geelong players (dangerfield is one of them), the final goal Dusty kicked in 2020 grand final against dangerfield.

what's the deal with this? Unfortunately Dusty is done and cant be covered anymore. Benny has bigger problems to deal with before he moves on, why aren't these things being talked as priorities (conditioning of players, on field application/lack of work rate and defensive pressure, etc)?
It was a different game back then. Today's Richmond is a sentimental one.
Much more simple than that, Campbell was marooned short of 300 at seasons end and wasn't capable of another year.
Exactly, Benny has lost the plot if he thinks Dusty is good for another three year(?) contract. Nearly choked on my weeties...
Dusty will be tempted by another contract. He will not have the big bucks of the media like Cotch and Jack. It is Iikely that he will disappear from sight like Plugger did.
He totally deserved the last three years at way overs, but enough of the romance.
We have got heaps of work to do and we will be doing it with less revenue (and a great big stand to pay for).
There used to be a banner around the MCG in the 70's, RUTHLESS RICHMOND. Sure, it's a feel good buzz to re-sign Dusty and Benny can bask in that, but I'm all in on Yze creating an exciting running machine who play with dare and excitement. We need to trade in stars who fit the mould with front-ended contracts next year. Fly has made the new blueprint for future success fairly obvious.
Interesting interview with B Gale this morning on SEN1116. Besides other things, he was asked about what space D Martin is in at the moment, motivation etc.
I’m paraphrasing here so somebody might have a more accurate interpretation, but there was a long silence to begin with before he said something like “I don’t know” and then went on to say he could only imagine it would be hard for him right now after all the previous success yadda yadda yadda.
Maybe I took it the wrong way, but wasn’t exactly the most positive of responses I didn’t think re the Dusty Dog’s state of mind.
Anyone else hear it ?

Just said that because Duz has been there and done that, he'd be bored with no more to achieve at the club. Still responds that it's up to Duz to decide and refer to Blair. Can't wait to get this story over and done with coz it's a f*cking headache to listen to everyday for the past 3 or so seasons.
I interpreted “Our preference will be that he stays at this football club and becomes a Tiger for life”, as we'd prefer him to retire this year than go somewhere else.
